Im curious if anyone else has shown microsoft/343 their distaste by not preordering like myself and took a stand with their wallet, Im not bashing those who have preordered halo 5, but i dont want to see any of you -Yoinking!- when/If the game you preordered is broken, or missing content native to the halo series.
that being said lets see how many people have learned their lesson with halo 4 and mcc
yep, I’m buying post launch, however I am buying limited edition. I pre ordered battlefront so I think that is enough this year, next year is a tough decision for me though… Halo wars 2 and battlefield seem to be my choice but what if another epic game is announced???
I’m not preordering, but I’ll wait and see how my friends, and the community think of it, probably planning to get it on the Thursday or Friday if a grand majority (and my friends) thinks it’s good (aside from no splitscreen, because I barely use it), I’m not preordering out of revenge, I’m just being a thoughtful customer.

well with no forge being announced yet, no gametype customization bieng shown, no filesearch/share bieng announced, who knows what will be included or EXCLUDED like in halo 4 and mcc
My lack of preorder has nothing to do with taking a stand… Pre-ordering is dumb… There’s zero benefit to doing it… There’s a 0% chance of Halo5 being sold out… Just go pick it up or download it…

Totally understandable, it’s actually kinda good to be cautious.

What about digital downloading? What if I want to play the game at midnight? And I’ve always disliked the “zero benefit to preordering” argument. There are benefits. Whether or not they’re substantial is a different argument. Getting some small, dumb extra content is still better than none. Besides, I’m going to buy the game anyway. Why not pay sooner for a game I know I’m going to get and get some extra stuff when the alternative is playing the game later with no extra stuff?

Half the beta maps were forge maps and we’ve already had confirmation on several aspects of game customization, like turning off spartan abilities.
Do some research, and then spread pointless discontent with the intention of starting stuff later.
