What do you guys think, 2, 4? Maybe even 3? I guess it depends on how the game plays, but what do you prefer, or think it will be, and why?
A part of me wants 4, as that was the classic Halo, but 2 fits better for MP because it’s more balanced, and it’s not all just a grenade fest, and forces you to use your weapon more.

I think 3 should be the number. In Halo 2 it was nice to pick up 4 stickies at a time but it was a bit much. And in Reach only having 2 stickies feels weak. So maybe 3 nades per type unless new nades are introduced. If 3 or 4 types I’d say 2 per nade.

Hm, interesting, I kind of like this, as it forces you to move around more- more map movement, right when you spawn, it’s not a huge grenade fest between either side, and it’s not as predictable to know how many grenades your opponent has- waiting until he uses up his 2, and then attacking.

3 did feel right to me in a way when I played ODST, not too much, but enough to feel satisfied. Of course you were able to carry 12 total if you had 3 of each type. I think Reach should’ve allowed 3 or 4 because of this- only able to carry 4 total.
I think Halo 3 and Reach kind of set the new norm at two grenades of each type. This will probably be the case if they are as powerful as they are in Reach. Four would be overkill at that kind of power.
I think there should be 2 to spawn with, but able to carry 4 of each type, with just two types, as more than that was a bit too much cycling through each one while in combat.
