Does anyone know how many credits it takes to 100% complete the armory so I can get the haunted helmet?
Technically, you can get 100% armory completion while you’re on your way to Nova but the haunted helmet is locked until you’re an Inheritor.

Haunted helmet doesn’t count towards the in game Armory counter. You can get 100 percent without it since you’ll have 100 percent way before you hit Inheritor (assuming you have the bonus waypoint armor unlocks).
As for the exact credits needed to get 100 percent, i’ll just do an estimate and take a shot in the dark 4 million or more credits at least.
if its 100% on way to nova, look more around, 8.5m i havent spent a credit, but im not nova either so… but im working on it
You get 100% during the Eclipse Rank so whatever that equals to credits.
From what i remember the Haunted Helmet appears in your armory once you hit Reclaimer but is locked.
You need 10 million credits to buy the armory completely. Which is why you get it around Nova. I am almost at Inheritor, and I’ll have exactly 10 mill when I hit it so there you go! Since it takes 20 mill to hit Inheritor, and I’ll have 10 when I get there, that means I spent a total of 10 on the Armory.

Honestly, as a Halo gamer who hit Inheritor in mid-July last year, I have to say the Haunted Helmet is rather boring. Yes, I wore it for a couple of days when I first got it. Then I brought it back out for the month of October as a sort of Halloween thing.
It makes you a HUGE target.
And really since you can only have the skull in one type of helmet, it’s really limiting. I’m not a huge fan of the Pilot helmet and would never use it but for the Haunted one.
The previous poster is right about the creds and you will get it just about halfway from Eclipse to Nova.
Credits from that point become boring to get. It becomes a grind at that point to hit Inheritor. I have to constantly challenge myself in certain ways to keep playing. It’s not for the credits anymore, that’s for sure. (I have around 23 million and that’s after the almost 10 million it took to get to 100% in the armory.
I’d say pace yourself, but indeed once Halo 4 hits, I see Reach plummeting in players.
My only real goal left in Reach is to hit at least 97% commendation. I’m at 94% now. (And it’s a GRIND to level up those commendations at this point)

You get 100% armory completion when your 50% done Eclipse. However, to get the Haunted helmet, you must be an Inheritor.
I’m not sure which rank you are now, but Forerunner-Reclaimer is pretty hard to rank up.

Do Custom Challenges and you’ll get there sooner than you think.
100% Armor can be completed about halfway through Eclipse, and WAYPOINT Armor does not count for this completion. BUT, everything that is in the Armory MUST be purchased, IE; all helmets and attachments (again, excluding Waypoint rewarded Armor), all FF Voices, and all Armor Effects, Chest Pieces, and so on.
You can see the ‘Haunted Helmet’ after you hit Reclaimer, but remains locked until you become an Inheritor.
yeah you get it after 20mill total and it costs 1cr. i can see it in my inventory. Im gonna buy it just to have it, but im not gonna use it. i dont like the piolet hemlet anyway.
Now, if it gave you the options for unlocking it at EACH helmet for say 500k eachyoull still have plenty id for sure use it with the Mark VI helmet! =D

I’ll second this. Once you hit the higher ranks it just seems to take forever to advance in rank.
Commendations are even worse. You complete a lot of them just playing normally, but there will also be a lot of them you won’t make much progress on because your preferred play style doesn’t advance them, so you’ll have to play in ways you wouldn’t want to play normally.

When I unlocked the Blue Flames back in the days, I gained 1 % to my Armory Completion. And I KNOW, that I did NOT buy anything else back then (because my profile were not authentified, so I bought nothing, and it jumped from that standard 7 % to 8).
So does the Flames count? I cant imagine this…

Flames don’t count, I am at 100% armoury completion without both Orange & Blue flames, I can guarantee you now though for your next few purchases in the armour, you armoury completion won’t go up.
It takes at lest 200,000,000 cr or u can just earn ur way up I’m only a commder in halo and I already per ordered halo 4 can’t wait I am such a huge fan and I’m going to comic con or what I say halo con ya I love halo all my life I hope more games like this come out
