How many 360s have you had?

Not sure if this has been done, but I was just curious how many Xbox 360s you have had?
Here’s my list…

  1. Xbox 360 Elite- had a disc drive problem, warranty replaced it.
  2. Xbox 360 Elite- had a video output problem, warranty replaced it
  3. Xbox 360 Elite- had it for about six months before it red ringed on me, warranty replaced it
  4. Xbox 360 Elite- remanufactured console Microsoft sent me after sending them my bricked unit, sold it
  5. Xbox 360 Slim- still going strong

I had the one I bought 7 days before Halo 3, fixed that one 3 times. Sold it. Bought an elite on the Day H3: ODST came out. Sold it. Bought another elite, about a year later bought another Elite (No Hard Drive), bought the H4 Slim then another Black Slim to put in my GAEMS PGE. Sold it all. Bought a day One Xbox One but someone stole it while I was in jail.

Bought 1 last one 360 on October 13th of last year (my birthday).

Then another Xbox One Day One (Used this time) on November 11th from Gamestop. Thankfully for this last Xbox One, I had SO many points and trade in credits, I literally paid $6 and some change for it. Don’t believe me? I got a receipt to prove it.

Also a couple days before Christmas I bought my g/f’s son a 360 at gamestop, again, so much trade in I only paid $3 and some odd cents.

So 7 (6 for me) Xbox 360’s and 2 Xbox One’s so far.

Xbox One controllers on the other hand; I’ve been through about 6 Day One Controllers, they seem to suffer from a drifting ing left thunbstick.

Just one 360. Never had a single problem with it so far. It’s only 3 years old though.

I bought a 360 elite not long after Halo 3 came out and the traded it in for the slim when that launched and I still have that one. It’s the shiny slim so it never looks clean haha. Jealous of my fiancée, when I bought her a 360 she got one of the nicer looking matte black ones

I still have my original. In 2009 the disk drive started to malfunction, and I was afraid it was going to destroy a game, so I got it changed. In 2012 the power supply failed, and I had to buy a new one. Nowadays the console works fine aside from the disk drive not opening in a vertical position.

1.) Xbox 360 Elite (Olive Halo 3 Edition) - GPU Failure, past warranty
2.) Xbox 360 Elite (White) - Hard disc failure. one day past warranty
3.) Xbox 360 Slim (Black) - Gifted to my younger brother

Just the original and my old faithful 360. I have to PUSH the button to turn it on…

I have the same problem. I laid mine on the side, but the drive still occasionally jams.

Never had a 360.
leaves quickly

Just one. An Elite. I clean the dust out here and there. Dust is the silent killer for consoles.

I have two Xbox 360s. My original was the Halo 4 console, but when Lizard Squad did their first hacking attack on Microsoft, my system ‘needed’ an update. Now it is permaglitched offline because it will not read any storage devices while updating hence throwing the 045D error out everytime (Includes any USB drive, any Microsoft HDD, etc), even though it reads them any other time. This event forced me to get my current standard black Xbox 360.

Edit: So:

1.) Xbox 360 Elite (Halo 4 Console) - Permaglitched offline by Lizard Squad, Working Only Offline
2.) Xbox 360 Elite (Black) - Working 100%

I’ve had my Xbox 360 Slim for at least four years now and its still going strong (even slightly better; the power button isn’t so sensitive)!

Lets see…

  1. Halo 3 Limited Edition Xbox 360
  2. Xbox 360 Slim
  3. Xbox 360 Slim
  1. the first 3 were taken by red ring of death… Now, it only occasionally overheats. But it is getting old and slow. I am getting an xbox one soon.

How the hell do you guys have so many problems with the 360???

I had 2 between me and my little bro and both are working to this day with no issues to speak of.

My best guess is that they bought there 360s shortly after they first launched. New things are always prone to bugs and problems of the sorts.

Only one, Xbox 360 Elite. Bought it in 2009. And it’s still works. Been using it for 6 years , I love my old Xbox 360.

Environment. Was it always kinda closed off or always out in open (ventilation). Were there smokers or pets (crap gets into vents and such).

2… 1 Xbox 360 arcade between me and my brother until he damaged it, and my own Xbox 360 slim which I use now.

Why would you bother going through that many??? I would’ve just wanted a refund and be done with it.
