So i wanted to fine out how much $2.99 gold req pack i would to need to casino gamble on Halo 5 pay to unlock or pay to win on halo 5 warzone with req pack gold for just cosmetics of spartan appearance in Halo 5. Well i did the math. For just spartan armor appearance only and not the weapons, emblems, assassinations or vehicle unlock. It about 400 spartan armor, and if add up all the other unlock which is 679 cosmetics in Halo 5. So how much it would cost me to unlock everything in Halo 5? Well Req Gold Pack is $2.99 each and you get 2 permanent items from Uncommon to Mythic. 679 / by 2 is 339.5 but let make it easy and call it 340 ok, so it $2.99 a gold req pack, then * $2.99 to 340 and i got $1016.60 is final cost to unlock everything in Halo 5. Tell me what you think about the micro transactions in Halo 5? I wanted to say this is not a 343i hate thread ok. I feel every should know how much micro transactions cost to unlock everything in Halo 5.
Angry Joe did the same calculation. You should’ve seen his reaction to microtransactions being added. Hilarious - but not a good thing for Halo in the slightest.
There’s no reason why microtransactions are there except to abuse a gamer’s wallet. That’s why the make it so difficult to acquire req’s normally.

You do realize you get REQ packs with points too right? Or do you just want to bash on the OPTION of buying something?
It’s not an option when it’s a feature that is designed to be pushed for by the developers who included it.
I am not bashing anything on Halo 5 or 343i. I wanted to tell all the Halo fan how much to cost to unlock everything in Halo 5.

But it’s really easy to get REQ packs by just playing. Probably easier than getting everything in Reach
Its optional to buy req packs…Only takes like 5 - 10 games to get 10k req points (can use those xp/rp boost things).
They aren’t forcing you to pay for req packs you know…

Pushed for how? I don’t see it being shoved in my face at all. I don’t hear 343 shouting BUY THEM INSTEAD OF USING POINTS. No, it’s an option.
There’s a reason why such a shortcut exists in the form of microtransactions. Please don’t be this blind.
100% Optional. I plan to spend $0 on gold and silver packs. Of people want to spend money. They are free to. (Over $500,000 has just been raised for the HCS from the req packs alone this week)
I been posting a post I wrote explaining the best ways to go about this.
The best methods to go about the Req system without spending any money
Micro transactions are a device used purely for greed. If games like Witcher 3 and Splatoon can succeed with just the base game alone and continue to add content for free, Halo (and lots of other big games) should have none of this.
You forgot to add tax… US average is 9.45% which is an extra 28 cents per pack. Or an additional $95.20 bringing the total to $1,111.80.
Or you could just unlock them by playing the game and save more than 1 grand but I digress.

Tons of short cuts exist for lots of different reasons. Doesn’t mean you have to take them. Everybody on here seems to agree.
They put that in the game because they know there are people who will do it. If no one bought them then they would most likely never been put in.
If they really wanted to sell us cosmetic items, then they should have put them together as specific packs. I want Anubis armor? I buy the Anubis pack (with real money or in-game money, obviously). I want all the AR skins? I buy the AR skin pack. I want a specific armor item with a specific skin? Then I buy that item specifically.
Simple, elegant, and I don’t have to gamble.

Yes they do. This is arguing in bad faith. Classic argumentum ad populum fallacy.
OR you can earn REQ points and not waste money, Right?
Warzone isn’t even a competitive playlist.
“Pay to win”
Haha, right. Because I spawn with level 9 and I can spawn a phaeton right after the other goes down.
Son, warzone ain’t pay to win. If it were, I’d never lose.
