The title is a little bit misleading, but at the same time portrays a little bit of the meaning.
What I am asking is how long will we have Halo 4 before they release Halo 5?
I know there is no release date for Halo 5 (obviously), but how much time do you think we have with this.
I’m hoping that we have a good 2 or 3 years before they release the next game in the trilogy. I want to think that this game will have the same play time value and lasting value that Halo 3 did.
It would be a shame if they did the usual every year they release a game type deal. Thus giving the previous games in 343i’s trilogy no length and play value. You know what I mean?
> When you here news about the X-Box 720, prepare yourself.
I heard rumors that it was going to be released around holiday season 2013. Hopefully they don’t release Halo 5 only a year after Halo 4.
Too me the best way to release a good series is by spacing the titles out by 2 or 3 years. Giving each title plenty of play value and length. Like how long Halo 3 lasted until reach. Or even how long reach lasted until Halo 4.
I wouldn’t expect anything sooner than 2014. At this point, being a year til that rumor of holiday 2013, we would have already seen some leaked stuff. It’s almost inevitable.
Depends. They aren’t doing Custom Games a lot of favors right now, and that has really been a contributing factor of Halo games. Spartan Ops Season 1 and the campaign may keep people coming back, but I don’t know about the rest.
I doubt halo 4 will last to long if they don’t title update and change some things like flag juggling ranks ect halo 4 should of came out with the next gen consoles would of been nice to see
Considering it took them 3 years to do this one, plus the fact that it’s been confirmed it’ll be on the next system, I give it no more than 4-5 years tops; unless they already have a small team working on it already (doubtful, but possible).
