I’m waiting until the weekend. No, not Sunday night. Friday evening. That’s the most I’m gonna do. My launch night all nighter was ruined. My day off was ruined. I won’t ruin my weekend searching for players all day.
The man with a plan!
Ditto for me.

If you are a fan of Halo, how will refunding it benefit you in any way? Yes its annoying that you cant play Multiplayer, but you know it will be up eventually. They arent exactly hiding in the shadows and saying nothing, they are being very open about the whole thing. You still have campaigns to play, so its not like you have no content at all. If you dont want to waste your weekend looking for people, then dont. Just wait for the update from them that its all up and running and then try it.

A reasonably response, and one I would more or less agree with, if not for the fact that all my campaigns are bugging out on me, and leaving me with literally nothing to do in the collection bar playing forge alone. No multiplayer. No campaign. But minus 30 quid.
If you don’t to wait for a fix then take it back. You can always watch the new graphics on youtube/twitch for the campaign later on, the terminals later on and eventually the story in halo 5. Someone always posts something
Then, once it’s fixed, go rent it at the local rental store and play it on another weekend you have off.

My campaign achievements aren’t showing up, and I want to play the campaign with my friends anyway. The plan was to play MP until they got the game, but right now I’ve advised them to wait.
I’m not keeping a game that serves no purpose to ne. I can make the 60 bucks back by the time they fix this -Yoink-. I’ll go use my refunded money on Sunset Overdrive or something.
Rofl you plebs are rustled over 60 dollars? Chill the -Yoink- out
Personally i don’t get so easily butt hurt about an enormous project / fan service having a couple of issues.
I will just be hoping around on destiny and forza until the game is stable.
I am not going to just up and sell a game 3 days after launch.
Acutally I have never sold a game… Just seems like a waste to buy a game for 60 dollars, then resell it for and instant 20 dollar hit just because you are mad it didnt work the night when a million people were downloading updates and all trying to play at the same time.
PATIENCE, this internet generation should try it out sometime instead of raging on a keyboard.

Everything carries consequences. The devs and pubs need to realize they cant keep feeding us crap unfinished products. The returns wont do much but at least they’ll see it happening.
I’m giving it until the weekend before getting a refund.

I’m a college student bro. Im taking 20 credit hours a week so I can only work a limited amount of time before I end up driving myself insane. So yeah, 60 bucks is a lot of money for me and I expect to get AT LEAST 60 bucks worth of game. Not 60 bucks worth of bugs, empty promises, and heartbreak. :’(

this ^ seriously I think it is time to end the launch of -Yoink- games on launch. If 343 needs to be the scapegoat for this then so be it.

multiplier is a fan services now? And a couple of issues? Enormous project?
Your fedora is on a little to tight m8.
Amazon had no issue refunding me for my purchase. They are also letting me ship it back for free. Just be honest with them and they will take it back if you got it from them. They are the only company that has come out of this with my confidence.

When you revolve your entire day around a launch day title, you’re going to have a bad time.

But isn’t it a bad thing to even say “This is an accepted form of releasing games.”
I get what you are saying Avoided, I really do, and I made NO plans to take off or anything like that. I got it delivered as playing immediately all day at release wasn’t an issue.
But we cannot continue to let games fail at launch and just call it status quo. This could have been delayed or handled differently.

I completely agree with everything you just said. I actually took the day off from work to play MCC as well. I’m just saying, given past launches with games it’s not worth trying to take a day off because there are nearly always issues (as bad/pathetic as that may be).
Monday.
