how long to featured rq packs and gamemodes last

i honestly just wanna know how long they last because i never really cared until halo infinite and the max rank in halo 5

Featured playlists rotate out each week. Featured REQ packs are usually around 1-2 weeks.

Is it always double XP on featured on weekends? Or is that only occasionally?

Most featured playlists will last 1 week. Thursday til the following Thursday.

Any featured playlist (has a gold star next to it) has double XP included.
There are rare occasions where all modes are double XP but that hasn’t happened in a few months

Mythic Firefight starts every Friday and ends on a Monday. Mythic FF is also a double XP playlist.
