How long do you want to wait for the Halo?

By wait I mean between Halo 5 Guardians and Halo “6”. I personally want to see some distance between the two to explore other stories and games. Maybe a triple A PC Halo focusing on large scale battles. Or maybe play as a marine on “Halo: First Contact”. What would you guys like to see?

0 days.

Well Halo 5’s sequel will probably come out in 2018 and we know yet we’ll have Halo Wars 2 in 2016 and 2017 is still blank, I also want new stories, but I would prefer to explore them just a little later, because I think Halo 3 is the last game 343 must remaster, it deserves it as part of the original triology and as the awesome game it is (3 and Reach are easily the best games on 360!) so I hope we’ll get Halo 3 Anniversary into MCC in 2017, Halo 5’s sequel in 2018 and from that moment we will be free from remasters and 343 will make Halo games that will tell new stories! (along with the main line games, the Reclaimer saga will not finish until “Halo 9” - probably 2027!)

12 minutes.

I’d like to see a full H2A MP remake. I could play that for the rest of my life.

Spartans don’t wait, they go looking for battle! Wake me when it’s ready.

I think that Halo needs to calm down with all these games that are released recently. Think about it, we haven’t had a break from a halo game since 2009.
2009- Halo Wars and ODST come out
2010- Halo Reach
2011- Halo CEA
2012- Halo 4
2013- Halo Spartan assault
2014- MCC
2015- Halo 5G
2016- Halo Wars 2
This is an extreme saturation of games that I think undermine each game before it. I’m fine with Halo Wars 2 but I think H5G needs 3 years of relevancy like main game before (excluding H4) People talk about population numbers but when you release so many games it divides numbers. I say H3A is unnecessary because it was the first HD halo and is already 1080p 60fps. What’s the point? You are going to have people who would be playing H5 go towards H3A, a spin off game. I’d prefer if 343 would focus on one game instead of all these spin offs/remastered

About 30 minutes so I can take a bathroom break and get a burger in between 5 and 6.

As for something I’d like to see? Maybe something with the S-III’s, let me play Operation: TORPEDO or PROMETHEUS.

Honestly, this is probably the most realistic. It matches up with past releases too. 3 years per main installment, a spin off and a remake.

Saturated? Yes. Milking? No. Quality? Yes (not MCC). That is the difference between Halo and other games out there (AC and CoD).

The moment a main installment is released annually is when the series will go down hill.

These are my hopes for the series:
2015: Halo 5
2016: Halo Wars 2
2017: Halo 3 Anniversary
2018: Halo 6
2019: Halo: Harvest (Pretty much a Halo Reach: 2. It doesn’t have to be set on harvest, that was just the first other planet that came to mind)
2020: I’m really hoping for a Halo Reach: Anniversary. Maybe even more so than a Halo 3 anniversary just because it’s the only major halo game not on Xbox One. It’s impossible to go back to playing Halo Reach at this point after experiencing 60fps and dedicated servers in a halo game.
2021: Halo 7

Halo 3 is already part of the MCC, updated graphically and technically for the Xbox One, not to the extent as CEA or H2A but updated none the less. A remeatered Halo 3 would not be added to the MCC, it would be sold seperatly if it ever were to be made and released. I personally don’t want another Remaster, Halo 3 looks, plays and feels greta as it is, plus if ya really don’t wanna play it as part of the MCC it’s most likely gonna be playable at the end of this year when backwards capability gets it’s wide release. And I’m tired of remasters and remakes… yay nostalgia…! I want companies to focus their efforts on expanding universes or exploring new ideas with new IP’s and not just re-sell you the same game again for full price
