The time came. My very first ban in any Halo game ever.
I’ve played roughly 20 matches today, been buying tons and tons of bronze packs to clean up my common REQs, and I ended up having to really use the bathroom, so I left the match, so that I wouldn’t give tons of kills to the enemy team, while being away.
And then a couple of matches later I played Breakout and lost connection literally as the match was ending, the end-cutscene with the enemy team, who won, and I lost connection. And now I’m banned.
Any idea how long it will last? I only have 12 common REQs left to get, but now I can’t get them because I have to wait for the ban to end. I would play Warzone, but I sold all my one-time use REQs to buy a bunch of bronze packs.
Depends on how often you DNF a match and are reported. 1st offense? Probably 5 minutes in that matchmaking type. So say it was Arena, go play a Warzone and by time done, your Arena ban over. If you are a repeat offender and reported often you can experience hour+ ban.

Oh, okay. That’s not so bad then. I do my best to avoid leaving.

This is a perfect example of how messed up the Ban Hammer is… The OP does not have a habit of quitting or leaving. Pretty good service record of completing games.
I know that my connection has been crappy a few times and I just get booted to the main screen… Your history shows that you complete your matches. I know I’d be pissed if I was banned because the connection is horrible.

So at most I’m two a month. That’s definitely not too bad.

Odd thing is, the connection was fine. Perfectly fine. It was only at they very end that it just suddenly said I lost connection.
Lol, Your Lucky, I got a ban for 24 hours! But now I’m trying to keep a clean record even if I’m getting spawn killed. Sigh

Ban timer shows on the ban screen and tells you how long you have left to wait. Only way to get unbanned is to wait out the times. Any other queries should be taken to the ban thread in the Halo 5 support forums, please don’t revive old threads thanks
