I pre-ordered the game digitally today around three, my time. It is now 6:47 PM as I type this and the game is only at 40%.
Is that typical from what you guys experienced?
I left my console on for 12 hours and when i checked, it was done, so i don’t know when mine finished.

It took probably like 4-5 hours each time… I’ve downloaded it like 4 times.

Depends on your internet speed mainly and how the servers are going.

Well, I have 250mbps, so I don’t think that would be the issue.
Perhaps there’s a ton of people preloading digitally today.
did it the worst timing when xbox was having download issues=13hrs…

A warning to people in the UK wanting to download or update on Wednesday… it’s pay day for most people with it being the 28th of the month. Expect a lot of network traffic that day!
Looks like I’ll be sleeping after picking up the game at midnight and starting the download.
The first time I installed it, it took about 5 hours. But when I reinstalled it last night to make sure I had the day 1 patch it took 9 hours.
I left it downloading over night, love that we can do that.

It’d be great if Microsoft could handle Google Fiber. Console appears capped at ~400 down and ~300 up.
Don’t know how long it’ll take to DL since I haven’t started it yet, in the hopes that my physical copy will be waiting for me when I get home this evening and I’ll be spared the extra expense which I shouldn’t even have to think about.
