So, I just finished the campaign solo on heroic difficulty. 343 said that playtests suggested the campaign would be anywhere from 8-12 hours on normal. I assumed to think that the number was inflated, but it took me 8hrs and 24min. For those that have finished, how long did it take you, and how did you play? NOTE - I found ALL of the intel items on the 3 investigative/intermission levels, and perhaps 25% of the intel from the other levels. I also died occassionally, with deaths happening regularly come the last three levels.
Below are also my play times for the other games I played on solo heroic for comparison
Halo 1: 8 hrs
Halo 2: 7 hrs 36 min
Halo ODST: 4 hours 40 min
Halo 3: 5 hrs 50 min
Halo Reach: 6 hrs 30 min
Halo 4: 7hrs 11 min Halo 5: 8hrs 24 min
Note about maybe 3 of said hours were just on warden eternal the first time, then again the final time combined. Just gonna stick with the 3 warden skip trick from here on out.

4 hours on normal… what is wrong with you man? Don´t get me wrong, but are you looking at the graphics and stuff and what is going on and so on or are you just rushing to the end because you want to be the fastest achievement hunter in the world. WTF man. Enjoy the game!

Yeah his lying, just check his stats. If you look at his fastest completion times for the missions it’s more than 5 hours.
