Considering purchasing a Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition console, but this year’s schedule may not be best to support game time. So before making my purchase, I would like to know by what date do I have to purchase the limited edition console.
Bump, cuz I’d like to know too.
But my guess is that “Limited” means there’s limited stock.
E.g. I wanted the poptart skinned Animal Crossing 3ds, but that thing sold like hotcakes (or hot tarts >_>).
Point is, I can’t get one now unless I pay an exorbitant price.
So just buy it, chuck it in a time capsule, …

Good idea. Even if it’s not going to be used for a year, I think it’d be nice to have it purchased and stored for later use. I wish we get to see an unboxing video at some point, I want to know how the console sounds.
Depends really I’ve seen some Limited editions consoles and games pick up dust/lay there in Wal marts or other stores. Although online may be another story where preordering may sell certain consoles or maybe not even close.
Aren’t they available until they no longer are being made and sold? I don’t think there is necessarily a timeline. Sure, pre-orders can run out as each retailer is only allotted a certain amount. But after the initial batch run if there’s still demand for production, I’m sure they will pump out more.
For example, you can still get the white Sunset Overdrive XB1 on Amazon brand new, and that came out last October.

Yea it may seem limited but most consoles don’t get bought like they are supposed to be.
