How loadouts should work in halo 4

Since player customizable loadouts have been confirmed for Halo 4 here’s how they should work. Now more than likely, 343 won’t let players spawn with power weapons like rockets and sniper in MP, but hypothetically speaking if they did it would be majorly OP for others. Therefore loadouts should only be able to have non-power weapons and you could get to choose which grenade you start with.

Example:

Primary- Battle Rifle
Secondary- Assault Rifle
Grenade- 1x Frag 1x Plasma
Equipment- TBD
Ablity/Perk- TBD

Of course the traditional halo formula of standard and power weapons will be scattered among the map. What do you think of this idea?

I honestly think you should only be able to choose between Primary and secondary weapon selection. If you put in the “Perk” and equipment into the mix, it’s going to just turn out like another Reach where gameplay is going to be random and everyone not starting off on an equal footing.

Have Equipment/AA’s as pickups on the map so then that way, you have to fight opponents to gain control over them.

What I meant by perk/ability was that since 343 stated that the different armor pieces you can wear will give you certain abilities within the game you had a choice as to which armor permutations you could have for a particular loadout. I should’ve made that more clear.

I think it should allow you to select some weapons that have the same kill time. So if the assault rifle and smg takes 5 seconds to kill the opponent and the br and dmr takes 4 seconds to kill someone, you should only be able to select the assault rifle or smg and the br and dmr should be found on the map.

Equipment/AA should be found on the map instead of spawned with. Someone shouldnt win a 1v1 battle because someone decided to spawn with a powerdrain and the other spawned with jetpack.

The perk system shouldnt allow the player to alter his movement (movement speed, sprint speed, strafe speed and jump height. It should be something like the ability to carry extra ammo or spawn with extra ammo(for the person with the spray and pray gamestyle). The ability to carry more than the max ammount of grenades. Advanced radar perk that allows you to see where items are on the radar and if the items and players are above or below you.
