I remember when live was new, when it was RAW. It was more personal, you didn’t have a “party” to join, you had game chat, and you met a lot of amazing people this way. Even though it was only in Halo 2, clans brought a lot to the social experience. I just feel like Halo, hell even online gaming in general, used to be a lot more personal. Even the combat of the game is intimate, and that’s what draws me in. You would think things like waypoint would help fill the gap, but I still feel like the human element is drifting away. The lore of this community is strong, I just feel like we’re loosing touch.
