How Is This Mistake made?!

Ok first of all this has to be tweeted to some big shot at 343 or Microsoft because this needs to be read

how is it in the kill feed where the text displays - is it that no matter what team your on, a kill registered by your team appears in blue and an enemy in red?

why isn’t it that when I am on the red team a teammates kill displays IN RED!? and vice versa?

seems like a no brainer - like really how is this mistake made? I’m playing on the red team but when a teammate kills someone it displays as blue text killing a red text? Seems so -Yoink–backward that it is almost funny how this could slip into a AAA game. Hire me right away 343 because this needs to stop. this kind of oversight needs to end.

I should look at the kill feed and if im on the blue team our teams’ text displays in blue
if im on the red team our teams text displays in red

Well, when there’s other colored teams besides red and blue in custom games would you make colors for those, too? Having that many colors in the kill log would be a bit too much for me

I think the current system of coloring is straight-forward. It’s like the red and blue on your radar.

No

Isn’t that how it works? Doesn’t really matter, haven’t had an issue discerning friend from foe.

I did laugh at how serious an issue this has been made by the OP, and the call to action is “tweet it to Microsoft!”

Red = Enemy for most game and blue = ally for most games so I like that the kill feed makes it like that or else I’d get confused fast, because its already confusing when I switch team color almost every match and almost team kill because of that.

When a person sees red on their map they expect an enemy. So when they see it on their killfeed, it should be the enemy too.

Do you seen call of duty, or battlefield, or any other AAA shooter coloring your team in killfeed? No: because most people see green/blue as good and red as bad.

No offense if i caused any. Have a good day

Almost literally how every game is.

Another mistake is when people are talking especially in Warzone, their name doesn’t show when they talk. Also there’s no buddy system.

It’s not a mistake. Most people register enemies in red and blue as allies in most games regardless of team colors. I doubt anyone has had an issue with it.

Never really paid attention to the kill feed

It’s probably Obama’s fault.

LMFAO!! its been this way since the beginning!

and i want to be able to ride a spartan armored unicorn into battle that shoots beam rifle rounds out of it’s horn but hey we don’t all get what we want. suck it up buttercup.

They have this. It’s the Battlecorn - Mythic lvl 10 REQ card.

Works for me, I know that the blue names are my team and the red is the enemy.

Red signifies danger == Enemy Team

No thanks. I like it the way it is. You seem to be the only one (or in the vast minority) that has a problem with this.

LOL

what about the name or call sign displayed above a persons head, should those always be red above a red player or will those change to the color of the team? I already shoot my teammate if they have on a damage/speed booster.
