I jump into an arena game by myself and I match a full teams of champions (one of them is a pro) when my team is comprised of solo Onyxs and a Diamond. That is in no way a fair match. One other person on my team had a mic and he quit a few minutes in.
This happens to me almost every time I play solo. Completely unbalanced teams and full parties against solo players. 343 has added the option to only play on good connections, now add the option to play against even teams.
I just matched this exact To4 4 times in a row.

Not when you’re playing by yourself and they have a full party. But yeah playing pros is cool.
Ive only matched pros like 3 times and they always carry.
Why do champions always have such cringy names? They can’t actually believe that it makes them look cooler or intimidating don’t they?
Ya that’s not OK, if you’re an onyx you should get matched with onyx until you move up, not getatched against a full champ team. I play solo a lot too and it just always seems like when I need one more win to move up to diamond I getatched against all diamonds and onyx and the one platinum that they’re carrying. This -Yoink- where people have a silver or gold in their team and they’re all diamonds or better so they get matched with silvers aand golds isn’t how it should work.
I learned long ago don’t touch the 4v4 playlist without a team.
It is because the games population is so low. Most people don’t want to admit it, but there’s your proof. The other proof is that Halo 5 averages 12-15 on Xbox’s most played games. Battlefield usually has around 15-18K people online and is always infront of Halo 5. So that gives you a estimate on how many people still play Halo 5. 15K or less, which is awful for a Halo title.

It’s frustrating for sure. Playing Arena solo just isn’t worth it, so I just usually play Warzone if my company members are offline.

Yeah Halo’s golden days, when Halo was actually a respected and well made product. I think Doom’s success will show that people will play a classic shooter.
they need the old system back of random v randoms and teams v teams. ive played halo since 3 and this is the most frustrating multiplayer yet. i stick to warzone, griftball and big team if im on my own. can this please be fixed next update thank you
I play breakout & swat when I’m playing solo, there are a couple of times when I get destroyed, but there have also been other times where I had a couple of good runs. I’m only platinum, so that might have something to do with it.

They got no one else to play most likely. There are only 200 Champions total. So the odds of 4 Champions queing at the same time as another team of 4 Champions is quite rare. So naturally its going to dip to the next medal down. I have seen plenty of all Diamond teams play an all Platinum team as well. Its not extremely rare. I don’t mind because its the next level to get to and I appreciate seeing what the next medal consists of. The challenge is embraced even if I get rolled 90% of the time.
There are only 200 champs in the world at a time and a full party of them means the odds of them finding a full part of champs is relatively small. As a result onyx and diamond players are supplemented into the search parameters. If you want a game that is completely representative of your rank than set your search parameters to strict or whatever it is. It may take longer to find a game but you will find players closer to your CSR

That’s around the same as Halo Reach’s(10k I think).
Maybe you were the best competition available. It’s not like matchmaking can say ‘hey your fireteam is comprised of ranks too high for anyone else, therefore you don’t get to play halo anymore.’ Take it as a compliment. You were deemed as competition for a fireteam of champs with a pro… Rise up and b0n3 those sweaty mother -Yoinks!-.
