How is there not a leak

In the new OHI Frank said he is going all over the world showing and telling media every detail there is to tell about Halo 4. So how in the world is this stuff not all over the web by now?

Probably because it was only -Yoink!- employees

You are aware that a media organization is put under contract and legal issue for not repeating said information? Generally, these legal issues aren’t taken as slaps on the wrist. It’s ruining pivotal parts to something that’s not supposed to be released until a certain date.

People who question these things lack the moral and ethical understanding on it. It’s the immature nature of “I WANT I WANT I WANT!”

The rest of us would like info as well. We just don’t think it’s the end of the world if we don’t get said info that day.

Patience is a virtue while gluttony is a waste of space.

Because people don’t want to risk losing their incredibly hard earned jobs over leaking a single piece of information. That and some have a considerable amount of respect for the game, the company and the gaming industry.

343 is sure darn good at keeping secrets! You sneaky little -Yoinks!-! :stuck_out_tongue:

The people who are allowed into their studios must be REALLY trusted bunch of people.

You think Microsoft will allow anyone to spill even the slightest of the beans without permission? Lol, as far as I’m concerned, over their dead body.

The gaming industry and Microsoft actually take this stuff really seriously. They do not want ANYONE to be releasing leaked information. The employees and everyone actually have to sign a special agreement stating that they cannot release any information without permission or else they will be terminated from their position.

I’m actually glad they have these set of rules because it just goes to show how much they care about their product.

Secret is 343’s middle name.

Probably because everyone involved in the project no how important it is. This game will either make or break the Halo series. Maybe no one wants to leak anything…

I’m surprised they’ve managed as well as they have. I forget the exact timeline, but I remember when Attack of the Clones was being made, we had storyboards and even the actual script online a year or more before the movie was released. Like, real legit stolen stuff from Lucasfilm all over the web.

And we can’t even get a screenshot of this thing and the game has been playable for months.

You act like a Non-Disclosure Agreement is exclusive to 343i. Pretty much every company in the history of forever has used them. It’s really nothing special.

He’s just giving Microsoft as an example in relevancy to 343i and Halo.

Not quite sure what your point is, but I don’t think relevancy is the word you’re looking for.

Leaks lead to investigations, investigations can lead to the people responsible for said leaks losing their jobes or worse.

I bet 343i has insanely good security.

Mr Disappoint is talking how Microsoft uses a non-disclosure agreement to ensure leaks do not occur within their product development. The ‘relevancy’ of this is Microsoft is related to 343i which is related to Halo 4 which is related to leaks which is related to this thread.

I’m very well aware that every company uses this policy but I was just using Microsoft as an example because you know, they ARE related to Halo 4 which we are talking about at the moment. It’s dumb how anyone can make assumptions about you just based off of one post on a forum… -____-

That could have been worded much better initially, to avoid confusion.

I understood what he was saying, however, I don’t see why it’s of interest to say it. Movie crews sign NDA’s, pharmaceutical employees sign them, every industry has them.

It doesn’t speak towards a level of pride in their product, it’s more for the company’s own protection. It’s just good business.

Sorry for the Off topic question but what is OHI?
