i’ve been hearing that the timeless one either lived through the time thing, or someone reversed it, but can someone tell me how it really happened?
whos the timeless one?
No, he’s pretty much dead now. I don’t think anyone in their right mind would say he’s still alive.
> whos the timeless one?
I believe hes the forruner king or something
some one correct me if wrong

SPOILERS No, he is just the last Precursor in the Milky Way. And even then he is a GraveMind acting like a Precursor, not an actual one.
The timeless one was actually a gravemind that was stuck in a container that was found in a forerunner planet ,also the gravemind said that the flood were supposably the real Precursors and that the forerunners weren’t worthy of carrying on their mantle so they would test out humanity to see if they were worthy.

What? he never said anything about the Flood being Precursors.
To clearify for all of you that do not know I will tell all of you. This is all spoiler from the book primordium. The Timeless One was not a precursor, he was actually a flood gravemind. The Didact learns from him that the precursors are not dead. The precursors are in a far off galaxy and have in communication with the Timeless One. The Didact kills the Timeless One inside of Installation 07.

Actually, he does.
After he is captured by the Didact, the Didact asks him if he was a Precursor or Gravemind, and the Timeless One responds by saying that the Precursors and the Flood are the same thing.OT: The Timeless One is dead, and will not be returning.

You misunderstood what the Timeless One said. He said that the precursors created the flood, they aren’t the flood. It says in plain text that the flood was the precursors fail safe in case the forerunners tryed to take over the Mantle.

that’s a relieve, i was afraid of being extremely disappointed of the precursors in Halo 4 for that
inb4 transfer to Halo: Universe section.
As stated above; he is a precursor, and I believe his words were.
“It is your task to kill this servant,” it said, “that another may be freed.”

No he didn’t. He clearly stated that Precursors and the Flood are synonymous.

It was never determined whether or not the Primordial was a Precursor, or just a “puppet” (Flood)

Synonymous means that they are similar not the same. He still stated that the flood were created by the precursors. The reason that he used that word is because the precursors used their own genetic code and created the flood. That is makes them so similar but they are not 100% the same.
Well, he is the Timeless One…
> Well, he is the Timeless One…
He was called that because of how old he was.
