I’ll be moving to Texas shortly, with that being said I’ll be able to hop on Xbox Live for the first time this year. (#Excited) While Halo 5 updates I was thinking about jumping on my old Halo Reach account.
Now I do have 2 questions.
Current population is good for Reach. Can surpass 7k on weekends. Compared to around 1500 on Halo 4. Even on weekdays the population is high.
Yes you can transfer your game data. Just set your storage device to the cloud.
What mastergamer said. I mostly play SWAT and normally there are several hundred to 1,000+ players in Matchmaking when I generally get on.
And yes, your stats and data will transfer from the 360 to Xbox One.

Reach is probably the most populated spin off game on 360… and yes it does save progress.
