How is The Infinity Challenge..

with vehicle betraying?

Now, for those of you that don’t know…the Infinity Challenge is going to be going on tomorrow. It involves War Games AND Spartan Ops.

1st Prize for War games: UNSC-themed 2013 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor

1st Prize for SPOPS: A cameo in a future Halo® title

Now, I know that we’ll be ranked on score and what not. But I’m curious how is SPOPS and War Games are going to work with people constantly blowing up your vehicles.

I’m also curious how they’re going to work around the tremendously bad lag that is experienced by a fair amount of the community.

I guess it all depends on who plays the most.

> I guess it all depends on who plays the most.

That doesn’t answer my question :expressionless:

Play more, score more points, rank higher in the leaderboards. That’s all there is to it.

You have to complete the games, and play in the Infinity Challenge playlist, but those are the only stipulations for earning points.

If people blow up your vehicle…kill people without it. I’m not sure what else you want to happen. It’s not like they get points just for blowing up a vehicle. You only get points for blowing up an enemy vehicle.

Lag is a product of your internet connection to the host. It happens, but if you are in a laggy match…finish it out and search for a new party.

Lag is rarely a problem for me…sometimes if I play late a night I can have 1…maybe 2 games that are really bad, but that’s it.

Earn points within the constraints of the system.

Bamp.

Don’t needlessly bump your thread.

The least you could do is respond to my previous post. What do you want them to do? 343 is working day and night (many of them possibly through the holidays) to fix balance and sandbox issues in a TU.

Once the new playlist is live, check the blog to see if anything more was changed. I doubt it will be though.

I hardly ever come across vehicle betrayers. Extremely rare for me…

My bad. I was about to start a match and got distracted.

I’m not sure what I want them to do. I was just asking if they were going to do anything. I just find it kinda bothersome that they’ve put out a map pack and are doing a tournament before they do a TU.

But whatever, I’m going to participate either way.

Well, the maps are handled by Certain Affinity so once they are ready, they push them out to MS.

343 handles stuff like TU’s and fixing bugs can create more bugs in other places so they have to make sure whatever they fix, doesn’t break the game somewhere else.

Microsoft likely put the tournament together to try to bring players over to Halo 4 from whatever they are playing. Definitely a marketing stunt to get people to play. It’s likely they had this tournament in the works before the game even released.

Microsoft definitely needs to chill out a little and let 343 handle things…I have a feeling they might be getting stretched a bit thin at the moment.

Well now I feel a bit bad. I didn’t know that someone else handled the maps. Thank you for that! I guess what you said makes sense. I’m just annoyed at the fact that they’re doing so much and unable to focus on one issue at a time :expressionless:
