How is Reach??

Hey everyone. This will be a random question but iv been away from Reach for almost a year now. I made the Mistake last year by trying out MW3 so i swiched to BF3. I was a big fan of Reach but i found with all the new games that came out last Fall/Winter Reach just wasnt as fun. Im excited for Halo 4 and it couldnt be coming at a better time now that BF3 was ruined with rented servers. I take it Reach still has its issues with the booting system and bad teamates but is it worth playing or is it better just to leave it on the shelf and hold out for Halo 4?

Were you around the time the Title Update came out?

It added a whole different experience to Reach with reduced bloom, sword block disabled, armour lock nerfed, camo nerfed and although not in effect anymore, damage bleedthrough was added back in.

There will be people who tell you to just leave it, and there will be people like me who tell you to get it, mainly because they either like/dislike Reach.

From me, rent it until Halo 4 comes out, if you don’t plan on playing it anytime soon after Halo 4’s launch, it isn’t worth getting the money out for purchasing it, unless you want to.

There are still the betrayal issues, although, I haven’t been betrayed intentionally for a while now, unless I’ve Yoinked somebody of course, but it’s all good fun, as well as the bad team mates issue, which won’t be fixed because the only ranked playlist has a low population.

Just finished the rest of the achievements and now i don’t have to go back to it. Unfortunately, i have to go back because of Machinima’s.

Well its good to know. I was around when Halo CEA came out and the title update came out then but iv got no idea if theres been one since. Its not to surprising about some of the issues that are in the game since Halo has had most of these since the first game.

I’d played it. Even though you may get teamed up with not so good players its still a lot of fun. I’d play it up until Halo 4 comes. That way you’ll be ready to fight the forunners.

I have came back to Reach after not playing since March. It’s still fun, but I’m doing it to get my aim back for Halo 4. Tbh, I haven’t notice any differences since that time. It’s really up to you if you to play or not.

Bad teamates never bothered me but i really hate the big issue betrayals. There were times you couldnt touch a power weapon without a nade coming at you from a teamate. Thats why im a AL supporter. I dont use it for aid agiast the other team i use it as a shield from the teamates trying to take you out

I’m an AL user, so I know. It’s consider noobish, but if you use it right, it’s hard to take someone out.

I got MW3 and Battlefield 3 last year, but got bored of MW quickly. Still play battlefield but Reqch is the most fun and social in my eyes. Plus if you’re getting halo 4 then booting up the campaign in legendary or some matchmaking will be good practice leading up to it.

It is noobish but i cannot lie. It is the only effective way to counter Reach grenukes ;/

It is fun to kill charging ghosts on Invasion though. xD

Well i jumped on for a few hours and the update is pretty sweet. I also thought it was to funny when i got the jackpot on my second BTB game today. BUt about half the games i was dealing with bad teamates trying to kill others for taking power weapons they wanted

I just found Halo: Reach laying on the floor so I picked it up and put it inside the Xbox 360 that I never played for a few days. I guess I was back into the old days when I first played it. It was a pretty nice experience, especially playing it once more instead of leaving it on the ground with some scratches on it.

In my opinion, I find both the Campaign and Multiplayer good unlike other people with their ratings on the game. I hope 343 Industries updates it abit more even if Halo 4 is released so I can play both games.

…but that -Yoink- on the female spartan is nice.

Black screen and betrayals are worse then ever. You’ll still want to kill something by the time your done, but it’s Halo…

Don’t buy it. If you really want to play it, do what Moa said and rent it. Halo 4 is almost here, so Reach would be a waste of money.
