I don’t understand why half the community sucks the games -Yoink- and complains about people complaining about legitimate issues in the game. How do you expect a game to improve when the core community just mocks the people pointing out the serious flaws of the game.
You’re wasting your own time and effort. Fanboys believe whatever they want to believe. If you could reason with them, they wouldn’t be fanboys to begin with.
It’s because most of it isn’t constructive criticize. It’s not people saying “Hey, this aspect of the game is lacking. People would appreciate it if you rectified the situation” The complaining is “THIS GAME IS -Yoink- ! 343 BETRAYED US ALL THIS IS WORSE THAN 9/11 BECAUSE THEY RUINED HALO!!!1!!2”
Complaining without justification doesn’t do anything for anyone.
You’ve got to explain why it’s a problem, and not just say it’s stupid or that you don’t like it.

See the thing is I made constructive criticism on legitimate issues in the game like lack of content and multiplayer issues and still get called butthurt
It’s because while there are legitimate concerns and complaints, and I share some of the same concerns. Most of it is mindless dribble and people -Yoinking!- for the sake of -Yoinking!-.
The one I hate, is complaining that 343 is dedicating to much time to REQs, and should be making modes and maps instead. Those people with this complaint do not realise that the people making reqs are NOT the same people as the people who make maps and game types.
Artists don’t balance games.

This is pretty much exactly what I was going to say. 75% of the time its people yelling and swearing instead of people actually giving constructive criticism. OP those people who call you butthurt no matter what are usually people who just say it for the sake of saying it because they probably only care about their own opinion.

mindless dribble is what I do when I play basketball.
you mean mindless drivel.
Because the community does nothing but complain
Free update with the best forge in any halo? Ugh get those ugly maps outta here!
Putting in aim options? Get the -Yoink- our of here halo I’m already on cod!
Free Dlc while the rest of AAA games charge you to do the Carlton dance? Ugh I want to be pennied and dimed by developers can’t you see that 343?
Being polite about it doesn’t hurt.
That’s the problem with game communities nowadays; You give criticism and people take it as hate. Yes, I am a Halo fan, played it since CE to 5 and loved every one of them, but still i agree with many issues people are pointing out, it all depends on word choice (Because people are soooooooooooooooo over reactive this time around).
I see posts on here that are constructive about a topic getting locked while the complete hate ones (like the weapons should be nerfed cuz I suck at using them)
I think the problem is that people just blatantly say that 343 is incompetent, stupid, useless, ect. When in reality they have developed a solid game that is being improved upon. I’ve seen 343 personally reply to people that have politely asked questions or suggested fixes.

Couldn’t agree more!
343 fanboys are too attached to a company they basically know nothing about and instead of helping fix the issues, dismiss any solution, counter-argument, logical explanation for why something is bad and just tell people to stop being haters because they are too lazy and incompetent to properly articulate what 343 is doing right and provide counter arguments. It is possible to enjoy Halo without liking the developers who made it. 343 fanboys are just letting their attachment issues ruin the game.
You’re complaining about people complaining about other people complaining.
Inception
There is a big difference between posting a constructive thread which attempts to address a problem or grievance, and going off on the kind of rant which usually involves a lot of name-calling, developer-bashing, and personal attacks. I tend to respond extremely negatively to the latter even when I agree with the point of the grievance. It’s all about respect and civility, two words that people find it very easy to disregard when they’re typing anonymously into a website forum.
