I love Invasion. But it’s been awhile since I’ve played it, simply because it’s had some problems that limit how much I can play it without burning myself out on it. Not least of which is not enough maps, and DLC Invasion map not showing up. To anyone who has played it lately. How is Invasion recently, has it improved any?
The poll makes little sense in the context, to me at least.
And Invasion is as it has always been for about a year. Most of the time I get matched up with players who are there to stat-pad or just plain don’t know understand much of what’s going on.
A new map or two would be nice, even if it’s just massaged DLC to allow for an Invasion Slayer match outside the norm.
Still the same as it was since launch I believe, although MM Systems Team commented a while back saying that Invasion would be getting some love of non-TU variety in the future, so it is likely community maps will be added to Invasion soon, I believe the cartographers have been working on finding some too.
As for your poll, Elites have been confirmed to not be playable in Halo 4’s Multiplayer, meaning Invasion as it was in Reach won’t be possible.

Blueprint is working on getting some community Invasion maps in, so hopefully those will be coming in the May update.

I just looked at MM Systems Team’s profile and he’s in no way affiliated with 343. Look at his last 10 posts, he’s a fraud.
We’re not getting any love for Invasion guys.

Hmm, I do remember a halo bulletin mention of some Invasion news being on the way a while back. I don’t know if anything ever came of that.
Also, I started getting DLC maps in non-DLC playlists more often a while ago, so I’m wondering if that is being experienced in Invasion, too.

I played Breakpoint Invasion for the first time in 2 months today…got the 13G thingy too!
It’s still the land where bks roam free.
It’s pretty much the same. No one votes for any skirmish types, Boneyard gets picked the most of the time and the occasional Invasion Slayer match on hemorrhage quickly turns into who can betray the other players the fastest.
In addition to that (and like the rest of Reach’s terri bad MM), you’ll have idiots for team mates while the other team is filled with decent to good players. Or everyone’s a BK and it’s up in the air who will win.
Oh and Breakpoint showing up is a myth. Believe no one who says otherwise.
It’s the same as always. You’ll get Invasion on Boneyard or Spire 95% of the time. You’ll get a team that sucks, but the other team will suck equally and the game will even out and tie more often than not. It takes forever to find a game, but the games last forever.
Don’t have the DLC, can’t comment on that.

I’ve only seen Breakpoint come up once and received that 13 G for blowing up the lab.
It’s way to rare in the playlist. Been outvoted to often when it comes to Skirmish. It gets old when 95% of the time is either Boneyard or Spire.
