The exact formula is unknown, however, it takes into account kills, deaths, betrayals, and assists (I think) across all playlists. From what I’ve seen, it seems to be heavily based on K/D, but I’m fairly positive that isn’t the only factor, as I’ve seen some people with a higher K/D than others, yet they have a lower BPR.
Right from the pop-up description on the website:
“Battle Proficiency Rating (BPR) is a number between 1 and 100 representing a player’s overall skill in Halo: Reach’s Multiplayer mode. This rating tracks your Kills, Wins, Assists, Deaths, and Betrayals across all matches played. You must play at least 10 Invasion, Arena or Competitive games for this number to be calculated.”
Although it doesn’t seem entirely legitimate. I betray far too often to deserve a 100.
so if i want my bpr to go up i should stop betraying?
