How Infinity Can Work In Halo 5 & 6

Do you guys think the Infinity experience will continue in future Halo games?

If it does, I’d like to see to see a PlayStation Home-esque experience that allows you to freely explore environments with other players in real-time.

Here are some of my ideas:

  1. A continuation of your Halo 4 Infinity career(You keep your Spartan, stats, emblems, etc).

  2. War Games with ‘new simulated battlefields and assets’.

  3. The ability to freely traverse the Infinity and interact with other players(Think Mass Effect’s Normandy).

  4. Seven distinct areas to explore: The Infinity Bridge(Social Area/Lobby), The Holo-Deck(War Games), a tactical insertion/ground ops station(Spartan Ops), a Custom Battle Simulations Deck(Custom Games), a Battle Environment Creation Deck(Forge), Battle Analysis Terminals(Theater), and a Critical Ops Center(Main Campaign).

  5. The ability to spectate live simulations on the Holo-Deck.

I know, this sounds very MMO-like. But if 343 wants to continue to trend of connecting all of Halo’s modes together, this would be very cool to see come to life on the NextBox. And who knows what possibilities will come with the next generation.

I hope this “Infinity experience” doesn’t continue. I think they’re giving way too much attention to a damn ship.

It is basically half of the entire Halo 4 experience.

This damn ship is what a big part this story revolves around. I don’t know about you, but I like the Infinity.

Then please explain why Spartan Ops takes place AFTER the campaign.

We’ve been working for 20 yeas on this ship. A home to 17.000 of our best.

And it’s gone!

No but seriously, it won’t blow up, else you wouldn’t be able to build your career on it. :’)
