How I think playlist should be by the end of march

I have been thinking about how I would like to see the playlist by the end of march. So feel free to let me know If you agree or disagree with what I have come up with. Also these playlist will be base off what we will have available off of the February update. So all these playlist will be possible.

-Ranked-
- Team Slayer | Slayer

- Halo Championship Series | Includes only game types for the HCS. Giving competitive players a proper playlist they deserve.

- Team Objective | CTF - Assault - Strongholds - Ricochet - Oddball

- Free For All | Slayer - Oddball

- Team Doubles | Slayer - CTF - Oddball

- Breakout | No variants, but would be interesting If we had a Ricochet ball In the middle that we could throw Into our enemy’s goal.

- Swat | BR Swat - Pistol Swat - DMR Swat - Would like to see carbines on map

-Ranked/Social-
- Team Snipers | Depending If the community would rather have it for ranked or social.

-Social-

- Grifball | Just gonna assume Grifball will have some interesting variants.

- Social Slayer | Slayer variants.

- Big Team Battle | CTF - Slayer - Assault - Strongholds

- Action Sack | Too many custom games to count.

- Rumble Pit | Slayer - Oddball - Fiesta

- Classic Playlist | Features Halo 2 BR starts on classic forge maps - Slayer - Oddball - CTF - Assualt

That’s all I have. This can all easily be changed based on the March update, but we will all have to wait, and see what It contains.

I didn’t include It since a release date hasn’t been confirmed yet. I only included game types we have confirmed dates of release for.

Team objective should be split up into three “sub playlists” underneath its name. like so:

Team Objective:

  1. Flag (Capture the Flag, Neutral Flag, 1 Flag CTF)
  2. Control (Strongholds, King of the Hill)
  3. Ball (Assault, Neutral Assault, Oddball, Ricochet)

Snipers should be social cause swat is ranked.

I was trying to make It so we didn’t have an overabundance of playlist so matches can still be found In a decent time. Also I didn’t include King of the hill since It hasn’t been announced yet to my knowledge.

Why? It has been ranked In past Halo games with no one having a problem with it. Either way I updated It so It says ranked or social depending on what the community would rather have.

Too many playlists

Would cause connection issues due to population stretching across so many

They shouldnt go above 10 playlists including warzones…

That’s true, but you can’t possibly have all of the objective game types in one playlists, and since it uses map rotations, people would constantly keep getting game types they don’t want to play. That’s why I split it up into three main objective categories that appeals to both audiences.

Should we make the secondary the classic Halo: CE Pistol when it comes?

100% agree. These playlists seem pretty solid

That would be a good Idea If they make It available In customs.
