I am pretty sure I am not at the max. I am onyx 1544 right now.
i think is to much but is ok, champions are the best of the bes, like generals ogf 5 stars in halo 3
Entry into champ is always moving up. As champs play and earn more CSR, the CSR you need to pass them moves up, Entry in champ in Arena is above 3500 i think right now. It’s lower for slayer, probably around 2700-3000
- IT’S ALWAYS -Yoinking!- 6.
Yes, I realize this is completely bogus. But it’s still relevant.

I am going for champion in FFA.

Check halo tracker. It will tell you
NVM looked for you, entry into champ for FFA is at 2700 CSR

That will be the day. lol. We’ve already established that FFA Onyx is very easy to get. Champion is much the same (relative to other playlists), but given how much you’ve struggled to get low Onyx after 63 games, I wouldn’t hold my breath for Champion. Champion rank is the top 200 CSR (with a minimum of 1800) in each playlist. That CSR threshold increases the longer the season lasts as those players have more wins and, therefore, have gained more CSR. Champion 200 in FFA is just below 2700 CSR right now.
Your best bet for getting FFA champion, without improving significantly at the game, is to try for it early in a season, when that threshold is much lower.

That is going to be some grinding but I may get there… next season
Its generally 2300+ depending on the competitiveness of the game type (from what I’ve seen)

In your opinion… FFA is the toughest IMO because you can’t be carried and backed up when you are on a team. 1 vs 5 > 4 v 4.

Again, as I’ve said before. it’s not a matter of opinion. You can literally do horribly, get 5th and rank up. That is a FACT that you can’t dismiss with utterly ridiculous comparisons like “1 vs 5 > 4 v 4.” If it actually required consistently good performance, consistently good aim, and wasn’t heavily influenced by getting lucky with Halo 5’s terrible FFA spawns, you might have a point, but it simply doesn’t. The fact of the matter is that it’s pretty difficult NOT to rank up almost every game if you’re even decent at this game. And, because there is no team shot to off-set the horrible weapon balance, bullet hose abuse is far more viable in FFA.
In short: you’re wrong, as per usual. And you will never get Champion in this playlist, unless good players stop playing it.

Hahaha I love when people spout their opinions like they are facts… I have played plenty of Halo and FFA is the hardest playlist.

I think you’re missing his point. It is a hard playlist, but you can potentially still level up even if you play bad and get 4th or 5th place. It would be the equivalent of always losing team slayer games, but still ranking up which is why low ranking onyx isn’t that impressive for FFA.

I don’t see where OP asked if anyone thought he was good enough to make champion. He was just asking what the threshold was. Build bridges not walls.
It depends when you start trying to climb up. If you start at the beginning of the season its about 1800 and you will be put into it. But once everyone starts getting past 1800 its harder to move up.
Pretty impressive dude. Good luck
a Little out of topic, but I’m diamond 6 in swat and platinum 3 or 4 in team arena.
the other day I was playing against onix and champions in swat which I thought, ok I’m almost onix so it’s not that bad.
but also I got matched with champions and onix in team arena, as you can guess I got a really bad time.
is it somehow your rank in other playlist affecting all of them?
