How have people gotten Halo 4 early?

Just wondering. The forums (both here and B.net) are filled with people that already have the game.

How have you gotten it? Did it get delivered early or something?

Got my LE 11.00 am this morning, tons of people are playing online so many retailers jumped the gun it seems.

Hmmm. Well I guess I may just have to wait until release, though it may come in today.

I ordered mine from Gamestop.

Another thing to remember is that the game came out in Australia and New Zealand, as well.

People have been playing matchmaking for about a week now.

Servers are online, about 8,000 people playing though, atm the servers are fast and stable, in about 10 hours time i bet it will take 20 mins to enter a game.

I’m based in the UK and mine arrived 3 days ago which was a pleasant surprise :slight_smile:

Ordering online always gives you the chance of getting the game early.

At the same time, you also run the risk of getting it late.

There may be threads bout people getting it early now, but believe me, tomorrow you are going to see a tonne of threads complaining they haven’t recieved it.

Ordering online, and running that risk, is just not worth it IMO.

Midnight launches are always better, less stressful and funner :slight_smile:

“Mom and pop” stores usually sell games early. for 10 bucks extra though.

Also, I think MLG players got early copies to practice for tournaments. You can see them getting payed to play H4 over twitch.tv, by CoD commercials ironically. Oh, and reviewers have early copies. Oh, And gamestop employees “borrowing” from inventory, they like to do that.

my buddy got his amazon copy early. its great so far cant wait till midnight to get mine and for everyone else to see how good it is!!

I ordered LE in June when it was announced and it arrived Saturday. No idea how it came so early but I won’t complain!
