You guys just don’t see it. All the complaining about sprint and smart scope is so meaningless when the real problem has already been up rooted and thrown away. Equal Starts is BACK IN.How can you guys ignore this that was the main problem with reach and 4, and it’s gone, yet you nitpick about smart scope, which is just a cleaner smoother animation for our scopes, and sprint, which makes the game feel faster, which is sorely needed for immersion and keeping halo modern but at the same time allowing it to keep its roots, you all are so blind from your nostalgia. its sickening, and disgusting. Yes halo looks different and Yes it has more depth, So what? why is this such a problem? You all want a carbon copy of halo 2 and 3, well guess what, its not going to happen. Its as if you all want halo to be like COD, changing only slightly with a few weapons here and there. You guys aren’t helping halo in the slightest. Not only this but you guys put the past halos in a God status, it isn’t. no game is perfect, including halo1 all the way to 3. Each one could have been improved.

I agree that the bleakness of a lot of halo forums with sprint and all that is draining, but I think most of the people still talking about the issues are still happy that there is equal starts, no ordinance, no perks, but what’s the point and posting “This is great, let’s talk about how great this is”? There are still more fronts out there for many people, we complain because we care.
Though for some it looks like it’s out of spite, which I don’t agree with.

Because it’s important to discuss what we enjoy and feed that back to 343 as much as it is to discuss what we don’t enjoy. These forums aren’t just for feeding back what we think can be improved, they’re to discuss Halo 
Stuff like this makes me realize halo is one of the *****iest fanbases.

Absolutely.
All that negativity creates a special dynamic that has far-reaching effects.
People absorb that undertone which results in even more negativity. This is a vicious circle that helps noone.

You are actually correct in this department, but from those that have played it it only affects it slightly from what ive heard, its not a massive boosts to any automatics or the like.

of course not, but most of the haters are screaming “halo is COD” when its not even close. THATS faulty logic.and they are jumping to conclusions without looking at the big picture.
Plus if you think about it critically, I dont think any of the spartan abilities mess with the core pillars of halo. Map control, Weapon Control. and the Trinity(guns,grenades,melee). they simplely add more depth to the movement system,which did need some upgrading, as well as adding more depth to the melee system. name one spartan ability that messes with this balance. So far I can’t find any.(and im not being sarcastic or anything).
