How hard would it be to have PvE Warzone Assault?

The A.I. is fairly competent for a FPS game with things like vehicles and evading.
It would play a bit like fire fight, but with offense and defense.

Offense:
clear and capture bases from Covenant or Promethean forces depending on the map before the timer runs out.

Defense:
defend against waves of incoming Covenant or Promethean forces depending on the map until the timer runs out.

All kills by the AI gets put into a REQ “pool” which the A.I. can use to spawn vehicles, heavy infantry, bosses, etc.
This would obviously be a social and unranked gametype.

I like the idea, but it’d have to be fewer than 12 people. Also, not sure why the offense round. Having Firefight would be best (defense)

What you’re suggesting would definitely require a lot of code to improve the existing AI, it’s just not good enough to do something like this. It is possible, but it would take a long time because of the amount of coding that would need to be put into it. There would have to be new scripts for, them taking objectives, holding objectives, unit selection, (When to choose a certain unit to spawn from the AI REQ pool.) and they would probably need to have some more general improvements. For example, AI currently only use vehicles to stay in a specific location, new scripts would need to be added so that they could maneuver their vehicles to an objective.

It’s too hard. They gotta put in AI spawns and remove red or blue spawns. Add some timers then make a playlist for it.

I’d rather they essentially make firefight by spawning a whole bunch of AI and giving limited respawns.
