to bring back the 4 shot br. man thats what the game was built on with h3. why bungie took it away to begin with is beyond me. when you have a formula that works, stick to it.

I am all for a Pro playlist, just get it out of Slayer. I’m sick & tired of having 2/3 or 3/3 maps all being Pro.

Bungie never took it away, 343i did, and they listened and brought it back along with all the other tweaks. Kill times are brought back to Halo 2/3 territory.

Actually Bungie made Reach, 343 just took it over. Then Bungie left to work on Destiny.
Edit: There was no 4 shot weapon in Reach. Bungie took away the BR to fit with the Halo story. Then 343 implemented a 5sk BR in H4.

No offense, but i find the 4-5 shot weapons to be highly unfair, especially when they can body-shot you and still get the kill. It makes it really hard for someone that is using an automatic weapon, or any weapon other than the BR, to get kills against someone using the BR. While mentioning automatic weapons, has anyone else noticed that the Assault Rifle never seems to have consistent kills? By this I mean, sometimes you can kill a player from a decent distance within one clip, but other times you can put a whole clip into someone that has no shields and not do anything to them. This has happened to me several times. One match I even put two clips into someone with no shields and he didnt die even though my aiming was directly on him.

AR is better than BR when you are at a close range. the automatic weapons were never really that good but have their uses are certain maps.

I agree about the close range thing, but most players who use the BR tend to camp or stay far enough away from the action so they can kill from a distance.

well yea thats strategy vs strategy. AR is best used in closed spaces or small areas where there isnt distance just as the sniper rifle is best used when there is a lot of distance. Each gun has its pluses and minuses. Some are more all around guns than others but they each have a specific use.
