How hard is legendary compared to the previous games? I’ve completed halo 3 and 4 on legendary, halo 3 was a decent challenge but halo 4 was a cakewalk especially playing through it on co-op.
I’m planning on playing through halo 5 with a friend on legendary; is there any levels partially frustrating at all? Just some tips that will help me fight what I’m up against on legendary.
well… there are 2 “playlists” for the campaing… one is solo e the other is coop… so doesnt matter if coop is easier, you have to do it solo if you like to complete everything like me… so that said… coop I havent played yet, but everyone says it is not that hard wit a good team… solo is harder, specialy with some hard boss, but never impossible…I think halo 3 would be harder but they are not that far apart
I have played both solo and coop on legendary for the first 2 missions. Solo is easier i my opinion than coop. Enemys seem stronger in coop for me.
Solo is probably the easiest campaign out of all the Halos. Co op is different beast however… Hell is the best explanation for that
but its doable… just take some time and don´t rush. Sniping is the best way to manage some critical points I think.
Another question, can you choose which member of your team you want to be on co-op? I know each spartan has different loadouts and some weapons may prove to be more useful than others on various missions.

The only requirement in coop is that SOMEONE has to be chief or locke. It does not matter who though, there is full control as to who everyone wants to be.
I began the campaign on Legendary last night and the first level wasn’t so bad. I can see the Warden Eternal being an absolute nutbuster, but that’s as it should be.
Solo felt pretty chilled but I have only played a small portion on legendary.

Oh you have not seen anything about the Warden yet… it gets much… much worse, coop or solo.

I think Halo 5 just took that title from 3 at least when in solo.
I think this is the easiest campaign by-far for doing solo legendary

You can down him in about 30 sec when you first see him. Just immediately target him so team mates distract him and run for the incendiary launcher it takes majority of clip but he goes down in seconds.
