As the title suggest, how hard is it to rank Champion?
When I rank Onyx I tend to just stop playing that game mode in pursuit of escalating to Champion because it always has came across to me as a impossible task.
I still am not entirely sure how Champion even works to be honest. Im sure I heard it was only 250 people in the world ar any time that could be Champ, is that right?
The only reason I ask is because it seems like I’ve seen a lot of Champs lately.
I want to know from the time you reach Onyx, how many games approximately do you have to win to reach Champ. Also can you place Champ or do you have to move your way up?
I don’t think I’ll ever get it, I’m just curious, I’ve been playing the game for some time now (as you can probbaly tell) and have no idea how it all works.

Champ is the top 200 players. There’s no set number of matches you need to win to reach champ because the threshold from onyx to champ moves up as people play more gaining more CSR. If you play during the start of the season it will take way less time to reach champ then if you started late in the season. You can place champ, but only if less then 200 players have placed yet, so you’d have to play immediately after the season resets. As for how hard it is to actually get champ it depends on the playlist. Playlists like FFA and Swat are super easy to get champ in while Team Arena and Slayer require a little more skill.
