Isn’t the saying goes as you have a much better chance at the beginning of the new month? Doesn’t the gap between Onyx and Champ increase as more people start playing the playlist? I never played long enough to try and get it. I probably have more time to try cuz Warzone isn’t as appealing to me as before. I’m either playing something else, or off the game, but I think the majority can agree that it is fairly easy getting Onyx in FFA.
So thoughts, experiences on this?

I don’t play FFA often and I’ve never reached Champ but I have friends who have and they estimate between CSR 2400-2500 depending on the time you start pushing for the Champion status. Of course when the new season ranks comes around it’ll be a lot easier to rank higher because there wont be many people with such high CSR to compete against.

^^ pretty much. If you do start after others already have a head start, expect ALOT of grinding cuz that’s the only way you’ll get it.

I get 1st place around 80% of the time in FFA, I thought I’d suck at it lol, I’m only diamond 3 though

I wish I could have 80% win rate. Even though you’re D3, that’s good.
Now I can’t speak from experience but what you say is true, champ is the top 200 in the world (I think) and is based on the most csr points so realistically if you had 1700 csr points and everyone else had less you would technically be champ 1
