How Halo Infinte's story can start?

As we know, the game will now focus mainly on chief but how can the story start, Halo 4 and 5 started with halsey talking and the opening was confusing and bad.

However Halo 4 did have a good opening where Cortana wakes up chief because it linked after Halo 3 where chief goes back to sleep. But Halo 5 was the most disappointing opening, didn’t link to Halo 4.

However, i think Halo Infinte should start off what happens with blue team, Osiris and the arbiter. Also should show about he covanent war, so the opening links with Halo 5 then game starts with master chief as now game focuses on chief.

But that’s what i think, post anything what you think, but the opening just needs to link with Halo 5, as its a sequal to Halo 5.

This probably won’t be the case, as those particular events you desire are already detailed in the novel Bad Blood.

Infinite will probably start with a time-skip. There was a disconnect between Halo CE and Halo 2 (didn’t tell you exactly how Chief got back to Earth), and also a similar disconnect between Halo 2 and 3 (doesn’t tell you how Chief got off the Keyship and ended up falling back to Earth). Pretty much every Halo game has had time-skips of varying lengths between the ending of the one game and the beginning of the next. I’d expect Halo Infinite to follow suit.

Do you think ONI will want to keep Blue Team separate from Chief because of Cortana’s interest in imprisoning him (and potentially a very valuable Spartan team if kept with him).

In Halo 2, the covenant were talking about chief destroying the first ring in Halo CE,UNSC were celebrating for their victory and the covenant were doing an punishment to the arbiter for his failure. In end of Halo CE, master chief knew that they only slowed then down but didn’t finish the fight.

But yeah i kinda agree because it doesn’t have tell everything but only reason why i said that because Halo 5 had a awful story.

As long as they recap what happened in H5 or at least the end, I don’t care how it starts exactly. It’s important to know what happened previously right off the bat.

You remember when Lasky emergency slipspaced Roland said there is no reason to think cortana can’t track us.
So Echo 216 (the pilot) was onboard the infinity and they went to zeta halo, then Echo 216 left the infinity and out of slipspace as soon as the infinity came out the guardian shot an EMP hence the beginning of the trailer show ‘SYTEMS OFFLINE’ Then the trailer (cutscene) plays, in the cutscene the pilot says on no, not now, not again maybe the EMP strikes them (due to the keypad showing system offline) this may be due to Cortana knowing that Spartan ‘John’ 117 is onboard the Echo 216 Pelican that’s why she teleports him and the pelican to Zeta Halo and they enter slipspace and go.
do you agree with my prediction?
