I was thinking about this today and thought of a way the Halo 5 story could have been improved while still keeping the same ideas of the story we were given. Let’s say that Master Chief and Blue Team still ignored orders and went off to find Cortana. Team Osiris could still be sent to find them, but not from the viewpoint that Chief and Blue Team are bad. Every other mission could go back and forth between the two teams, first with Osiris then with Blue, showing Team Osiris on the trail of Blue team, trying to figure out where they went and for what reason, while your viewpoint from Blue Team’s side explains where they were and why. Eventually the two teams will meet up and the story that is left off at the end of Halo 5 can continue, eliminating the short bad-chief story that was originally shown. It could focus more on mystery and the backstories of both teams, giving insight on the coming threat that Cortana may pose. This could better fit the quick turnaround that happened between Chief and Locke. What do you think? Please put your input down below and if this topic was already talked about, I was unaware.
