How Halo 5's Campaign Should Have Been

Mission 1: Fireteam Osiris, this is what the first mission would be. Osiris is sent to grab Halsey and return her to Infinity, except, they can’t kill Jul. Instead, Jul swings at Locke who dodges and jumps off, and the brilliant -Yoink-, manages to land on a Phantom or some dropship, and gets inside, and he then, flees. Osiris gets Halsey back, but they cant kill Jul.
Mission 2: Blue Team, this is basically the second mission from Halo 5, except Blue Team see Cortana visions, the last one telling them where she’s located
Mission 3: Osiris goes to hunt the Chief, starting with locating the Prowler. This would be on Meridian Station. They go through the Promethean’s and all, but though the Prowler is destroyed (sadly) No remains of Blue Team are found.
Mission 4: Blue Team is going through the Forerunner Cave, and they see a panel. Cortana, manages to trick Chief into pressing it, believing that they would find her, but instead, they awaken The Guardian. Cortana has them get on board the Guardian, and while on it, they awaken The Warden Eternal, who had been resting. He controls the Promethean forces, but Cortana takes control of The Warden, and puts him and his forces under her control. (Yes, The Warden is a boss battle)
Mission 5: Osiris investigates about what happened, while doing so, they encounter Cortana’s troops. They take them down and go investigate further. They then find a terminal, made by a Forerunner Builder who tells about The Guardian’s, and The Warden. They then get a map of all of them, most of the locations have no more Guardian’s. So, the next place is Sangheilios.
Mission 6: Blue Team is led to The Ark, where the other Guardians are at. Cortana instructs them to go find her, but though Blue Team must fend off the remaining survivors (which are Flood and Brutes) Once they find Cortana, she explains her plan to “help” the UNSC, though little does Blue Team know that she is going more and more insane due to The Mantle going in her head. Technically, she’s using them
Mission 7: Osiris lands on Sangheilios, their objective? Finally kill Jul’Mdama, take The Guardian, and find Blue Team. They meet with The Arbiter who discusses his battle plan, and of course Osiris is all “-Yoink- yeah!” They of course go and attack invading Covenant Remnant, and decide to counter attack with their plan.
Mission 8: Blue Team is ordered by Cortana to finally kill, the last Gravemind. The way with this is to simply blow it up. The Sentinels and Promethean’s help out the SPARTAN II’s, and manage to kill The Gravemind, but its last words confuse John, as it says, “Your comrade fools you.” (Or at least something along those lines)
Mission 9: Osiris and Arbiter’s forces go to Suniaon, where they wipe and eliminate The Covenant Threat, but turns out, Jul partners up with The Warden, acting like a believer. Osiris is told to hunt down The Warden, while Arbiter goes for Jul. Another boss battle between The Warden, while once that ends, Arbiter is seen, battling Jul, who is dual wielding his energy dagger and his energy sword. In the end, Jul is no match for The Arbiter, who sends a massive slash at his chest, and then stabs him, ending his life.
Mission 10: Osiris is on board The Guardian, where it takes them to The Ark, they manage to hide inside it thanks to grabbing the elite’s active camo units, but they wear down easily due to the fact that their armor cant handle all of the other abilities with that camo, and since the camo is foreign, they shut it out completely. Osiris then holds out the Promethean’s that are on board The Guardian. The Guardian then lands, but boot Osiris out of it and they are on board The Ark.
Mission 11:Fireteam Osiris goes and searches for Chief, until they are encountered by Brutes on Prowlers. They steal The Prowlers, and hunt down for The Chief. They then meet the new Brute Chieftan, who almost kills Locke, but Vale also knows some of the Brute language, and convinces the Chieftan that if they help Osiris, they can get them back to their home world.
Mission 12: The Brutes and Osiris team up, going for Cortana and Blue Team. They deal with the Promethean Threat, and see a Phaeton wrecking everything in sight, until Locke uses a Brute Shot to take it down. The Brutes and Osiris have an idea to use this wrecked Phaeton as a tracker to take more of the Forerunner vehicles. It works and they go off, to hunt down Blue Team
Mission 13:Blue Team is dealing with the rest of the Brutes, taking them on with some difficulty. The Promethean’s stand somewhat a chance against the ape like creatures, who are tearing them apart. Cortana though, has an idea. Chief goes to man a Forerunner turret, to blast the ground forces, which works. Taking down several Wraith’s, and they see a Phantom, which he shoots down, landing near where hes at.
Mission 14: Osiris gets out of their destroyed Phantom, and hunt down for Blue Team. Locke is then contacted by Cortana, who tells him “Chief is all mine” Locke doesn’t like that though, and the brute allies and Osiris, go and eliminate the Promethean threats. Then encounter Blue Team
Blue Team finally encounters Osiris, and Locke says that Cortana is a liar and is fooling Chief, John says “Like hell she is.” Locke warns Chief to stand down, but he wont hear it, Chief then charges at Locke, and tackles him with amazing speed. John is kicked off by Locke, who gets up and runs at Chief. The two are going into hand-to-hand combat, being somewhat equal, until Locke realizes Chief has been screwing with him, and when his visor his cracked by Locke, he knees him, forces his helmet off and starts beating him down, that is until Osiris intervenes and starts firing on Chief, trying to save their leader. They are though, guarded by a hardlight shield. Blue Team is needed by Cortana, and they run off, having The Warden deal with Osiris.
Mission 15:Locke gets up, and Osiris manage to destroy The Warden, who finally dies at the hands of Osiris. The Brutes manage to help as well, swinging Gravity Hammers at the distracted Promethean’s, ripping them apart. The Brutes then lock down the zone, with Osiris dealing with Blue Team.
Mission 16: John is finally realizing the truth, and all of Blue Team go to stop Cortana, with Osiris helping them Blue Team deal with the Guardians, with 343 Guilty Spark helping them out. Chief and Spark manage to deactivate The Guardians, and sends them all somewhere else. She then decides to do a last resort, and re-activate the Halo rings, so she can restart life and start with eternal peace, her ruling everything. Osiris is then stopping Cortana from doing this in Mission 17.
Mission 17: Cortana is taunting Osiris, as they with the help of Mendicant Bias, are deactivating the Ark’s connection to the Halo array, They fend of Promethean’s and The Brutes come in to help them out. They manage to deactivate the Halo array, now for the final mission
Mission 18: Cortana is pissed now. Osiris, Blue Team, and The Brutes work together to take down The Ark for good Cortana is reborn into the physical world, and is a major boss battle. Being powered by The Ark itself, the team destroys generators, and Mendicant Bias takes over. He primes the Ark for self destruct sequence, giving farewell to the heroes. Cortana leaves in a Cryptum, while Blue Team, The Brutes, Osiris, and Spark find a Forerunner Dreadnaught. They take off, The Ark, blows up entirely, and nothing is left of it. No flood, nothing.

Sorry for the wall of text. There would have been more, but I couldn’t fit all of it in. Either way, I believe this is how Halo 5 should have been, anyone agree? No? Maybe. I admit, I think Cortana being an enemy would have been badass, but that’s just me. Anyway, list your thoughts. c:
