And you presume 343 is performing some sort of psycho-historic calculations to determine what is the objectively best course of action given their position, product, and fan-base?
As any amount of thought on this will tell you, all anyone has is just an opinon. We are limited, we are subjective, and even when dealing with âfactsâ and data all we can do is interpret the results and form an opinion which we feel best suits them.
Thatâs life, so you may as well be posting on the fact that the OP is made of flesh and blood rather than the eternal ether which youâve somehow come to presume is a requirement for a forum post.

343i listens to the community as a whole, not the opinions of one individual. What he deems âshouldâ be in Halo is not fact, mere opinion. I agree and disagree with ideas that he has presented, however his video wonât do much of anything. Thatâs what I was trying to say.
Also, if youâre going to attempt to sound intelligent with a clever rebuttal and large words, please ensure that your statements make coherent sense.

Thatâs why he posted a thread, to see if the community agrees or disagrees. depending on the majoritiesâ stance, then 343i will respond. If he said nothing, then what good would that do anyone?
I donât see why more customization is a bad thing⌠but taking an idea as broad as more weapons and more customization and saying âThis is how halo 4 should beâ is a little much⌠youâre not describing the game⌠just saying it should have more of what it already has, which is pretty much a no brainer for any game out there. What youâve said should be included in Halo 4 could be injected into Reach using a TU and DLC

Pot calling the kettle black, are we? I might not be a fan of the oppressive conventions of language but at least I donât unwittingly present obvious paradoxes as truths.
In order to take stock of a group one must listen to the individuals that make it up, and without bias towards their opinions lest you only be polling those biases. In other, easier terms which you might be better able to grasp (since I certainly lost you on a trifling Asimov reference), you canât reason your way to what the community thinks or feels if you shut people up who seem out of place, since then youâre maintaining what is only apparently true without the justification of evidence and reason since youâve established a selective process to determine what you see of both.
And then youâre just -Yoinking!âing about in the vapid aether of the mind, rather than taking actual feedback.

You donât get a medal for pointing out the obvious. What someone writes in their post is their opinion. If you choose to interpret their post as a âfactâ thatâs your problem. And even the people at 343 can only give opinions as to what Halo 4 should be. Theyâre not some almighty god deities.
OP, I for one donât want weapon skins. Theyâd just look silly in Halo and are nothing more than a gimmick. Equipment were bad enough in Halo 3 too⌠Iâd just prefer standard powerups, thanks. More melee weapons are a no, no too. Sure they look cool but theyâre some of the ânoobiestâ weapons around.
Iâd be all for more player models to choose from in MM, as long as there was a force player model option. Both a force team and force enemy model option would simply be amazing.

I think the sword was actually skilful, well depending on the situation. You had to get close to the guy before you could kill them. I think they should put in a way to block with the sword like the Elite from Halo Legends: The Package did, if they could do that without making the sword over powered that would be awesome.
Just saying, I loved equipment, I think they should bring something like that back, it made power ups so much more convenient.
