Hello. I was a huge fan of the original Halo Wars and poured countless hours into it, and from what I’ve seen Halo Wars 2 looks to be something I’d want to play. That being said, I have an important question; how good is the PC version?
For those who have it, sharing any problems/bugs/performance issues specific to PC would be greatly helpful to me in informing my purchase.
The game on pc has many bugs, starting a bug a few months ago that practically left the game unusable after a while they fixed it (mediocrely) because they eliminated the animation of right clicking, the connection is constantly lost if you are playing as a team , also lately there is a quite annoying bug that practically does not score your game played in ranked.

I haven’t run into any game breaking bugs in my time playing, there are bugs such as decimus getting siphon even when not attacking and such but its not game breaking per say. I don’t run into performance issues either. I have an 580 RX 8gb and ryzen 3300g cpu. I have heard that on windows 7 i believe it was there was an issue but as far as I know its been fixed. Overall I feel like halo wars and halo wars 2 are very different games but they’re both enjoyable. Halo wars 2 would be more so as it has way less bugs on the PC version.
It’s not a port, don’t just randomly use internet buzzwords.
I mean it’s pretty good, other than weird glitchy animations and stuff. But it does sometimes kick me outta games and stuff.

The game is good but there are a lot of issues. If you play games with a party/team you will lose connection (the timer freezes and nothing moves) about 5 out of 8 games. I don’t get this issue while playing solo at all. There are also a few hard crashes but those are rarer than the connection problems. It’s a big issue with server stability. It’s wide spread. Some people say it’s a problem with my internet, but after testing on different networks of various types and with different people in/out of parties it is solely a game issue. I love this game but it is so unstable it’s hard to rank up properly.
