I’m thinking of pre-ordering Halo Wars 2 because I want to play some Halo Wars so bad, even though it doesn’t have online matchmaking.
Would it be worth pre-ordering, or does the code still take some days to be sent? Because if that’s the case, I’m just gonna spend the 80$ on an Infinite Warfare/Modern Warfare/Destiny Collection bundle.
I was told just now (after preordering from Amazon on the 19th) that I have to wait 7-10 days.
Had I known that, I’d have skipped getting the game as a gift all together. What a bust… what a way to ruin a potentially good Christmas Present… How lame. “You’ll get your present… in 7-10 days buddy!” is what I’ll say now.

Because everyone would grab a free game instantly before they cancel their pre-order.
The current way frightens the most of such players and ensures that there are fewer fake orders, while real costumer will get their free copy.
It’s a pre-order, or better said, a ultimate edition bonus and we could be happy, that we get a game for it. (and maybe a kind of additional hw multiplayer beta through hwde)
Normally we have to wait for the launch of our pre-ordered game to get our bonus. And it’s mostly only a skin and maybe a few battle-/starter-packs, which are mostly senseless because you will use it just at the beginning until you get a lot better stuff.
btw: i wait too… perhaps for 6 additional days…
Makes sense. For 20$ extra, I think a remastered game + a season pass for the new game is a pretty great deal. I just still cant decide if I want to preorder my copy so I can get Halo Wars ASAP or just download some new games today haha
