Before all the campers start complaining about sprint we really should verify that its there first. Frankie said gameplay was quicker, and they pointed out the lighter armor of sparten 4s, For all we no sparten 4s move at 110 to 120 % of sparten 2s giving us all faster movement and ramping up the difficulty for everyone.
I wasn’t looking too closely, but the multiplayer footage briefly shown in the ViDoc looked like it was around Halo 3 movement speed – or, at least, faster than Reach.

Watch this video. At around the 20 second mark and the 1:40 mark the Spartan is clearly sprinting.

It does look similar to the sprint in reach, but they also said they were going to try to get away from the floating gun feel, one way to do that is to have the MC lower his gun during some motions. There was also talk of some head bob in motion. The big problem i have with COD is it plays like stand up arcade, where people run up to you for you to shoot them from your floating turret.
