I have the Overwatch challenge which requires me to save a teamates life from far away 3 times. As stupid as it is to have this as a challenge on 343s part, I can’t seem to get any kind of saviour medal even in BTB.
Anybody have an idea as how far away I need to be and which medal progresses the challenge. I really hate these “challenges” that are purely luck based. It’s already bad enough that there’s playlist specific challenges. 
to give an example of distance i’ve gotten guardian angles while standing at subway and shooting at an enemy at tower on streets. hope this helps
The distance is less of an issue than being able to tell when a teammate has popped shields and is about to die, before sniping the person killing them, and preventing their death. I sat in BTB camping for a couple hours just to do it once. Never again. I’ll skip it every time now. Such an enormous waste of time. Idk why 343 would even make that a challenge.
“Far away” apparently is the distance from BR to Commando spawn on Recharge. I swear I have more Guardian Angels on Recharge than I do in BTB.
Yep. Insta-skip for me, although, if I have it at the top of my list, I might wait till Friday before using the skip. Usually I’m good for 1 GA per week. But it’s an awful challenge.
Would be nice if the weapons’ scopes featured rangefinders.
Am I incorrect for remembering that some iterations did?
I remember at least one of them having a rangefinder on the weopons that didn’t have scopes. I want to say it was H4, but I’m not a hundy p.
