I just want to know who I’m playing against. I’m in Australia and every game feels quite laggy considering it’s meant to be on dedicated servers. If I search focused or balanced I can never find a match.
And after every match I have to stop match making and start a new search. Or it won’t find me a game.
Also, is there any way I can find my ping and compare it to other players?
Im afraid there is no way to find your ping to what server your playing on. And really we never know what server we are playing on for that matter. This was a major over look on 343i/MS part to not have the option to select the server one plays on based on ping… If you select expanded you will very likely have a very laggy game because your more then likely connecting to a server here in the US. And that alone with that distance the game would be no fun to play. Not to mention your ping will be through the roof!! Maybe someday they will wake up and add this option… When using focused and balance you will likely never find a game because of lower game population in your area. You can post your problem in the region specific thread and 343i might look into your issue to help you find games better. Good luck!
