Can Fortnite just die already?
I’ve become bored with almost every game out right now. I played Halo 5 for 3 years, even with the lackluster content. Im super excited for Infinite and all the hours Im going to pour into it.
I’ve been dying for some news on Infinite… e3 is soon though!
optimistic skepticism is how I can put it at best. The MCC on PC will adjust my excitement levels depending on how well that project works out.

Yeah I was on the manic end of hyped for Infinite… but now my hype is being split between Reach coming to MCC and Infinite so it’s starting to smooth out at least lol

Not excited, but I’m hopeful for Halo Infinite after watching the Bonnie Ross interview. However, I’ll remain cautious. As for Halo Infinite killing off Fortnite ? Doubtful imo, Fortnite is massive, it has in excess 200 million players, it’s also a free to play battle royale and I don’t see it getting killed off by Halo, or any other game for that matter.

What Bonnie Ross interview are you referring to? Can you link me to it?
I’m dying for some info, but I’m moderately excited so far. I mean, it might be getting a bit older and all but hype is a 9/10 problem in the long run if you ask me.
Modern Star Wars taught me not to buy into hype anymore. H5 did the same. And many other movies and games did so as well. In other words: until I’m seeing actual stuff I’m just happy we’re getting more Halo.

I am SO excited but there’s no chance it’ll “kill” Fortnite.
I’m optimistic but I’m tempering my expectations for now.
Im more afraid then excited tbh, actual gameplay is needed to confirm or alleviate my fears.
I’m looking forward to E3 and hoping we get some new details and even some gameplay footage (might be too soon for that, but there’s hoping!)
I’m very excited and cautious at the same time. Hopefully they don’t do what Fallout did, man that was a disaster.

Neutral – excitement level will rise or fall based on E3. I hope its good but I’m a little reserved currently.
Depends, if they fail like they did from Halo 5 I won’t do business with 343i again. This is my last hope for them, so wishing the best for this release.
Very excited, even have the Microsoft event on my calendar for E3 2019. Such a long way to go but hopefully it’s good. I have faith in 343!

I doubt it will for reasons eviltedi has said amongst others.
As far as how excited I am, I always look forward to the newest Halo game and I am excited, but I’ll admit I’m a little more cautious about things and my expectations aren’t as high as they used to be. I’m just not convinced that 343I will take the necessary steps to make Halo, Halo again (In my opinion) That doesn’t mean the game will be bad or anything, but it just won’t feel like “Halo” per say at times for me.

It was her interview with IGN. She was very candid and openly admitted where they have made mistakes, she also commented that they let us down with the MCC collection, it takes a lot to do that. She seems to care a great deal about the future of Halo. It gave me hope for the franchise, but I will still remain cautious. It’s linked below, it’s a long watch, but it’s worth it imo.
