How Exactly Master Chief Survived The E3 Demo

The E3 demo ended with a situation that not even Master Chief could take care of himself. with easily a dozen Promethean Knights and countless Promethean Crawlers surrounding him, how could Master Chief get out of that situation? Not to mention that fatal slash Master Chief receives before the screen goes black. There’s endless possibilities as to how this could have been resolved. I’m calling it right now: The Didact calls off the attack. I think it’s a possibility that the Didact(Or, corrupted Didact) is obsessed with making sure that the ‘Reclaimer’ whom destroyed a Halo ring and possibly the ark dies by his hands. Possibly giving Master Chief and Cortana the opportunity to discover what the Didact’s plans are(And it obviously involves the fate of the entire universe). Don’t forget the tons of luck that the Chief has on his side, because he’ll probably need plenty of it to escape the Didact’s clutches and notify the UNSC Infinity of the danger, setting up the rest of the game and the Infinity’s new objective: Destroy Requiem and its army of Prometheans along with it.

IF THIS IS EVEN IN THE GAME

Or maybe he beats the crap out of the knight, because it went black we do not know if he received the blow or not, and then shoots his way out because he’s master chief.

MC’s got luck, bro. He gets out of everything cause he’s John 117.

Armour Lock.

Or it was just the way 343 decided to cut the demo so in ended in a dramatic fashion. We won’t be sure till the game is released.

This.

Lol this excuse is no longer applicable.

Yet another thread that assumes we’re facing the Didact. It could be anyone in that Cryptum and the Ancient Evil could be something else entirely. You also realise that in the situation you proposed, the Didact, possibly being an ally, could have called off the attack because he realised that these were Humans they were fighting? If it even is the Didact.

All Spartans have Armour Lock :stuck_out_tongue:

The trailer clearly hints at some form of the Didact, dude. If not him, then possibly the Master Builder, although at this point, that theory doesn’t seem to make sense.

I believe they will drop some more hints, if not tell us, to who the actual “ancient evil” is, at comic-con.

It’s probably just part of the demo to end the E3 campaign play-through in an epic way.

…that part might not even be in the final game

It isn’t even the Didacts symbol. There’s a difference between the two.

On the left is the Didact’s symbol. On the right is the symbol seen in the Halo 4 E3 2012 Trailer. The two differences can be noticed quite easily. The Didacts symbol has a hole in the center, the other does not. The Didact’s symbol’s arms do not touch the outer ring, the other’s does. Obviously these are small differences, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t someone else entirely.

I believe that’s been replaced with sprint ;D

I’m just saying, I’m voting on the Didact simply because of what 343GS says in the Halo Anniversary Terminals and the way that he looks like he could start to go crazy towards the end of Primordium.

Then there must be some link to the Didact, I doubt Forerunners would have such similar designs in their emblems for no reason.

It’s the didact in his un-bound state

Cortana take control of prometheans?
Chief is captured and taked to meet evilguy1?
Chief is saved by sniper-guy numer14?
Chief is saved by the Arbiter/random?
The prometheans stop moving?
An earthquake?
The Cryptum save Chief?

Who know? in fact, who want to know and spoil the game himself?

Again, most people have taken to calling the person associated with this new symbol the Anti-Didact. Now obviously, there is only one person who we know of, that stands in opposition to the Didact. That would be the Master Builder Faber. As someone in another thread pointed out, why would he change his symbol to a similar one to that of his most hated enemy. Thats also a good question. And all the facts that have been presented suggesting that there is no clear reason as to why the Didact would want to harm Humanity, its kind of hard to believe he would be the enemy.
