Really? I won’t be able to try it until tomorrow. I wonder how running it off of SSD would be? My external SSD is USB3, maybe that will smooth it out.
Hopefully they fix the issues otherwise xbox one backwards compatibility is a waste. Like there’s no point releasing games if it runs very bad.

I was thinking the same thing. Worse comes to worse, I’ll just buy another 360. I don’t care…I want to play Reach!
Um, you guys do realize it runs exactly the same as it does on the 360, right?
You all are probably forgetting that Halo didn’t run at a buttery smooth 60 fps until MCC came around, lol.

Unless you’ve played it on the one, you don’t understand. It wasn’t choppy on the 360. This is much worse.
i give up on life everything is destroyed…
It’s going to be the same as 360. I haven’t tried it yet, but Reach always run <30 fps. We are just used to the better looking games that come out now. The exact same thing happened when I played through Mass Effect on Xbox One. It looked really bad, but when I put it in my 360 it was just as bad, if not worse.

It’s not. Compared side by side. It’s much worse on the one.

If it runs anything like Mass Effect ill be fine. It was slightly choppy but playable.
I remember when I sold my Xbox one last year due to MCC, I came back to Reach to play and the first few days I played Reach I was like what the crap did it always run this bad? But then I got used to it again. I’m not downplaying your problem, if it is less than 30 FPS it isn’t normal, but going from 60 FPS to 30 FPS will mess with your eyes.
Once I got used to Reach’s framerate again I was having a blast. I actually enjoy 30 FPS more than 60 FPS
It makes no sense why the Xbox One could not run a 5-6 year old game better than the 360 lol. Mass Effect runs better on the Xbox One than it did on the 360. And that was a stated fact in review articles pertaining to the backwards compatible version of ME.

Clearly you’ve never ran an emulated game then. I’ve seen emulators struggle to run NES games on modern gaming PCs before

I remember I had this CD based NES emulator that ran on my PS1. The PS1 could BARELY emulate Super Mario Bros. 3 ! !
