So I just finished another win in Team Action Sack and this is like the 3rd time I’ve been down-leveled in CSR for doing really good! What am I doing wrong? I mean, look at how I did last game!

This has happened a few times and it’s so annoying. I was promoted to a 28 before this game and expected to level up to 29 or even 30 after destroying these kids this last game. Instead I got deranked for doing good. Someone please explain.

You were the highest CSR in the game, so you were expected to win.

You only rank up by beating players who are ranked higher than you.

Don’t know. I played a game of SWAT today and got 18-0 and I got ranked-up from 0-13. Looks like someone at 343 did their math wrong.

because 343 made the ranking system. your not allowed to do good it hurts peoples feelings.

Yeah, I played my first game and went from 1 to 13 too.

I think the visible ranking may lag behind your actual TrueSkill by 1 game. If you win, your Mu (average skill) WILL go up. But if it’s a poor quality match, your Sigma (uncertainty) could increase and bring down your visible rank (CSR).

You could be on the borderline - remember these aren’t discrete ranks, there are several decimal places hidden.
