So the Halo 5 forum has all these numerous and great threads pleading for 343i to add new features (More Sandbox Elements in Campaign), take away certain ones (Sprint/ Flinch), and more. So how do we, as the Halo community, get 343i’s attention and advertise our intuitive ideas to the designers of the franchise we love? I know we’re not entitled but still…
We can post and debate all we want, but its pointless if we can’t have a shared discussion with the designers and have our ideas voiced.
So???
(Do any of the monitors or admins have special communication with them?)
We’ve very rarely had actual employees post, but I assume that some of them just glance over the forums. I’ve seen supported community letters given to 343 (how they see them, I will never know).
They have a lot more important things to get done, and I don’t blame them for not participating with such a loving community that can turn frustratingly rabid in an instant.
This all does call into question the point of endlessly debating on forums if it accomplishes absolutely nothing then…
Can’t say I blame 343 for not directly interacting with us. Not every discussion would be…civil. But they are listening to us. They’ve acknowledged their mistakes with Halo 4 and are bringing the focus back to arena combat in Guardians.

The purpose of the forums is to interact with other fans, plain and simple. Debates are an inevitable and enjoyable (if they stay respectful) side effect.

Yeah I applaud them for that, it’s just like concerning sprint, I wish we could get a letter to them or an email or maybe make a post popular enough to garner their attention.
All that arguing over sprint and nothing actually is going to come out of it, not even any reasoning from 343i why its good.

Getting an email to them doesn’t change the fact that sprint is still such a divisive topic. It’d just be more opinions.

All this talk of the same subject, which feels like its gone on forever. This why I sometimes try to make new threads, on a whim to deviate from the same stale debates, or go into a Cryogenic state to avoid them.
I guess they look over the forums can see what everyone is talking about.
