Hey guys, I was discussing whether the DMR is better than the BR with my friend and he said each bullet of the BR’s burst is as strong as the DMR. So that means landing just 1 of the 3 bullet burst does as much as a single DMR shot. What confused me is he said landing the other two shots doesn’t do any extra damage, but of course it wouldn’t we all know both the DMR and BR get the job done in 5 shots. So long as you land at least one bullet with the BR, you’re good. Ummm is this true? Cuz I always thought to successfully take the enemy’s shield out in 4 bursts you had to land every single bullet. Wrong, each burst is as powerful as a DMR shot. To test this you can take a BR in split screen and shoot the other player but as soon as you shoot reload.
Actually, let me correct myself. A BR’s burst is slightly more powerful than a DMR’s shot. Just enough so that if you land every shot, the first bullet on the 5th burst will get the kill.
